NONE. End of story. Balance comes from equality, which HALO did best.
yes, we know. Sorry to break it to you, but there is really no good reason to keep making these threads, as sooo many of them already exist and you can go post your points there.
People must be really running out of ideas for threads.
agreed OP,but yes,you really should post these on other threads…
Because everything bad about reach has already been said. SOOOOOO many times.
Cool. Haven’t been on these forums ever. While it’s assumable, I don’t care, 343 needs to resurrect this series and if people have to spam such threads then so be it.

These threads are made at least four times a week, I’m pretty sure they get it.

Lets hope so. I guess I’ll leave this forum until release, since there’s nothing to do but post game suggestions.
As long as they let you add them in custom games but keep it out of the default settings, I agree. And as long as you get cool abilities or equipment or something to pick up off the map. But yeah, starting with an ability changes the gameplay too far from the original formula.
A little bit of reiteration doesn’t hurt, we are talking about AA’s after all.
I assume, the much essential, sprint will be put as default for all players then? Good idea.

No. But no matter, every generic modern FPS has sprint as default anyway. You can play those.

Why would I want to play those when there’s a better game?
Just want an upgrade to a game, not a downgrade. And certainly not the exact same games as before. I want to be able to get to the other side of a BTB map without having to get into a vehicle and without having to walk for a long time and I’m sure lots of others agree. I don’t get it, what the hell is wrong with sprint?

So if I’m reading this correctly, there shouldn’t be AAs because Loadouts let players pick their AAs off spawn?
Call me crazy, but if the wheel is broken, why fix the bumper?

Then ask for a higher base movement speed and acceleration akin to Halo 2 or Halo: CE. (We’ll get effective strafing back, and it’ll be easier to avoid grenades and rockets, wouldn’t that be nice?)
New gimmicks won’t improve Halo 4. You’ll just have another Reach. You want an upgrade to Halo, yet you would like a feature that’s in nearly every FPS out these days.
What’s wrong with Sprint? Sprint ruins map movement, positioning, and map control, it makes chasing an Objective carrier far too easy, it allows for easier beatdown kills, and easy evasion if you’re in trouble. Why should a player survive a bad choice that he should be punished for?
want the game to be too predictable like halo 3? the armor abilities just need to be different. they weren’t suited for the game properly. they did succesfully add variety to a game style that was slowly growing stale.
and a reply to the above: you are just wanting a remake, not progress. Gimmicks like the arbiter camo or the equipment can become an important part in gaming, like COD’s custom classes and killstreaks. The gimmicks help the industry adapt games better in the future. It also seperates the games from the others. I thought Reach had a great multiplayer, but poor campaign. Maybe you are still hurt by the terrible story associated with the game. I still am.

So for you was Reach a test demo for the ‘industry’ as you believe to ‘adapt games better in the future’?
Do you even know what you are talking about?
I’m hurt by how the gameplay is now somehow poorer in this series than what it was over 10 years ago. Has a successful shooter undergone such a drastic change like Halo did with Reach? I want progress, but progress doesn’t have to come by the price of completely changing what something is.
The ONLY thing that Halo should keep from reach is the assassination feature.
Lol that is sooooooooooooooooooo true from soooooooooooooooooooooooo loooooooooooooooong ago
