No AAs and Day/Night Confirmed?

Check out this picture and notice two things: The bar above the radar and the Gametype.

I believe the bar signifies the AA usage, as it did in Reach. This one looks like an eye with an X in it, making me believe it’s Active Camo. It could be something different, but I just want to propose the idea that it is an AA bar.

The Gametype is weird: Midnight Team Slayer. This is different from this picture, which says BR Slayer. Also note the lack of a bar above the radar.

Two things:

AAs will not be in every gametype. “Classic” settings will be supported.

There are different time periods available? Someone noted in a different thread that the shadows appeared to be more accurate or resemble a time-based system in-game. While the picture seems to have no difference in overall brightness, I wonder why they named it so. NOTE: As I was typing this, I thought that Conan’s show might have influenced the “Midnight” aspect. Just another thought.

Perhaps the midnight slayer means no Motion tracker so it’s like fighting in the dark. I dunno cant recall if the mtion tracker was on in the video or not

Midnight slayer could just be a custom game name. Maybe it’s called that because they play the game all night, or it could be a Conan reference since his show is on late at night and that’s where the screen shot came from.

The other stuff is already confirmed with a classic slayer and AA abilities with a bar for how long they can be activated. The bar on the right side I’m not sure what that is though.

They said warhouse and wraparound were place holder names. Warhouse got changed a week or two ago maybe wraparound did too?

This has nothing to do with anything you wrote, but I noticed something. The score bar once again will reflect how close you are to finishing the game. It’s a nice little feature, kind of helpful when you start out the game and don’t know what the score goes to.

Also, one of the screen shots tell you exactly how many points you need while the other doesn’t. I’m thinking they’re different builds because the BR Slayer game was taken a few months prior to the one taken from the Conan show. Just a thought.

Good observations.

I love the first one. That was always fun with Halo 3, since you could guage how many kills it took to win by looking at the bar. With Halo Reach’s random numbers (50 or 75 or 100 or 120…) we never knew.

The different build is also something to think about.
