I’ve looked at the main page of the game and saw, that the maximum of players is 1-2 in co-op and normal mode(whatever normal is). So I got a bit shocked because I can’t imagine that there’s no more 1-4 player splitscreen. It always made fun to play with my brothers and sister online against the others. Is it possible that it got removed?

Afraid so. I think it was because they’re using the original engine, which doesn’t support 4 player co-op.
Halo: CE did not support 4 player Co-op in it’s campaign so neither does Halo: CEA. It’s not because they wanted it to be exactly the same but more that they would have to edit the original game code as it runs off the old game engine with a graphics engine on top.
There will be 4 player splitscreen MP. The 1-2 players the page was referring to was in regard to campaign. Halo CEA’s multiplayer are just maps for Reach, and Reach supports 4 player splitscreen.
So, campaign 1-2 and multiplayer 1-4. Looks like everything’s okay^^
