A new system for Halo 4.
No Arena as well.
But will there be rank for different playlists like get a rank for Slayer, for Snipers or will it be one overall rank?
I’m sad 1-50 is gone I loved it so much
But I, think 343i will come up with a good Ranking system / they better
Also Arena was a huge let down im so glad its gone / also Seasons need to die and NEVER EVER COME BACK …
LETS HOPE 343i does not drop the ball on Halo 4’s Ranking system like Bungie did with Reach …

Ranked playlist need something for everyone just like social
Slayer
Doubles
MLG
Snipers
Swat
BTB
And there has to be a visible Rank per playlist / otherwise people will get bored of just Ranked Slayer 24/7 - " Looks at Arena "

I would say many people from the Competitive side are iffy about the game until more is said or showed about how the RANKING SYSTEM LOOKS / WORKS …

Everyone gets credits just for trying YEAH I fell good about my self thank’s Bungie Reach is great …
If Halo 4 turns into everyone gets something for nothing im going to cry / what happen to ranking up because you improved at the game instead of just how much you play …

I’m really hoping moderators start permabanning people who make this kind of thread.

Things should go back to the way they were in halo 3 except replace 1-50 with a new better system and give people 1 exp for playing and lets say 3 for winning.

Yes to some point …
Although I hate the idea of the losing team getting xp or Credits – it kills the insensitive to win although what you said about the 3 win & 1 lose is better then Reach’s system
If you win you should Rank up or get xp/Cr
If you lose you should lose and try and get better so next time you can win and improve
Again thats just me and im a very Competitive person / I hate losing and I always try

Kill me why don’t you and this is not about 1-50 it’s about whether or not there will be more than one ranked playlist.

I agree. I think they should add 1v1 as Lonewolf and change the original Lonewolf to FFA. All they need to do is have map boundries for 1v1 and shrink the map for different gametypes like Battlefield 3 does.
1-50 gave us boosters, de-rankers & account sellers.
1-50 was flawed in many ways. Skill getting locked was the main flaw.
1-50 is the best ranking system ever.
Give us a system which forces us to try hard every game, but still discouraging de-rankers and such.

Sad to hear this news… why is so hard to have a visual rank??? If i win i want to rank up… if I lose I want to rank down… why are people so opposed!!!

Well 343 is against it because of boosters and players selling accounts on the “black market” and most players who dont want the 1-50 back couldnt get past 30 or so in halo 3 and are inheritors in Reach.
