As stated in the title, Amazon has delayed all Halo 4 shipments in the Northeast, thanks to Hurricane Sandy. Apparently, Amazon’s main distribution center was in New Jersey, which got pwned by the storm. I’m not sure if other regions of the U.S. are experiencing delays, but at least for people like me, this totally sucks. We may get the game as soon as tomorrow, or as late as next week. Yup. :’(

Why I don’t live on the far East Coast or pre-order online.
Mine is already on the delivery truck.
I don’t know where mine shipped out of. It said UPS picked it up at Jacksonville,FL which as far as I know, there are no Amazon warehouses there.
But mine is on time.
Waiting for UPS to get here is killing me though
I won’t get mine until Thursday now. Which is a pain, since I was looking forward to playing it.
I’m in the UK and pre-ordered the Limited Collectors edition. Didn’t come today either despite me paying extra for it to arrive today. When I called they refunded the delivery charge, and said I should get it tomorrow, but that it could take until the 9th to get here 
…and this is my question regarding the extra skins you can earn if you play online before Novemeber 20th.
If all of our orders have been delayed because of the storm and we’re all waiting to get our game/system…are they going to extended that date a little so that we can have time to get online before the cut off date?
My current Amazon pre-order still hasn’t shipped and there is a note to expect delays.
I fully understand about the delays in shipping. I just don’t want to miss out on the extra stuff if I don’t get my system in time.

Somehow the Newegg distribution center in New Jersey magically escaped without any delays.

Pre-ordered 5 months ago, they are saying I’ll get the game tomorrow. But I’m working all day tomorrow. So I won’t be able to play until Thursday.
I think Amazon are up to something really. Don’t they know you have to do things before cut-off days? Also I understand 'bout hurricane Sandy, but why not ship it out before Sandy came? Also how come other Amazon packets have gotten through?
Now I have to get through tomorrow at college and then wait till the afternoon on Thursday to play. Why did Amazon have to delay with Halo?
Amazon are useless regardless of the weather. I’m prob about a 1000 miles away from that hurricane and they still didn’t deliver on time.
I’m in another country nowhere near the hurricane. Plus Amazon should of sent it out earlier. Now I have to get through tomorrow with out playing it. I really hope nobody talks about it is the class. You would think that Amazon would have their warehouse all over the world stocked and pilled up ready to be sent out of today, I guess not then.

Amazon emailed me to informed me of the delayed shipment. I contacted customer support and asked for them to confirm the earliest date it would get here and they said the 7th. So, I had them cancel my order and my order for black ops 2 and bought a copy from walmart. It’s just usually easier to order from Amazon and come home from work and the game is waiting for me on my porch, but not anymore,
The hurricane was a week before Halo 4’s release. They had time to get the shipments out.
Plus, Amazon had months to prepare people’s copies. I feel bad about what happened to my fellow New Jerseyans, but being unprepared for stuff like this is just bad for business.

Just wondering: besides Halo 4, what other games were delayed?
I’m getting my Halo 4 Limited edition around 4pm like always as I preordered from Gamestop and they ship Purolator and it always comes on release date but later in the day, So I try to sleep in til around delivery time =)
Yup, last time I’m ever ordering from Amazon. BB, GS, Newegg, and Wal-Mart have all shipped perfectly fine to the East Coast despite Sandy.
Amazon is a joke and they don’t deserve our money if they can’t even warn customers about this.
Off the top of my head ACIII was delayed until the evening of Halloween well after the post had been, when I went to take the dogs for their last walk ((22:00 or 23:00)) I saw something where the post is, and it wasn’t that at 16:00. . Also I don’t think Max Payne is a big game, but that was delayed until the next week, so I had to wait. Also Medal of Honor was meant to come on Friday, but didn’t come till Sat. So they weren’t that bad, but I just don’t like waiting.
