Nintendo 3DS, Waypoint, and You

Er, uh, well, I mean uh…me. Because, I do not know how many of you guys have ever browed Waypoint’s forums on the Nintendo 3DS. Anywho…

My question is, is there a way to efficiently browse Waypoint’s forums on the 3DS? Does any here do it or have you done it? Browsing is fine; I can navigate smoothly and see all the topic titles, but, when I click a topic title, I cannot view any of the text. The page is loaded, but I just can’t read anything.

But here’s the kicker…

If I highlight the screen, I can see the words highlighted; it is as though the font color is the same color as the forum’s background, but I have to highlight to read it.

Does anyone here have any experience or knowledge at all about the Nintendo 3DS and Waypoint forums?

Well, it might work if you use the mobile version of the forums, but I don’t know how to change it manually.

Yeah, I am digging around for an explanation as to how to switch to mobile version, but to no avail.

EDIT: Found that I am currently in mobile mode, and that I can read topics perfectly if there is only one post. Anything more than that, then the text is blended in with the background.

That’s probably a bug with the browser itself.

Mobile browsers generally tend to be very buggy, and their support for web standards tends to be very incomplete – regardless of what the browsers’ tech specs might claim. What makes things worse is that there are tons of the things, and each is completely broken, but in a different way. Until mobile browser makers get their act together, it’ll be nearly impossible for web developers to support all but the most major ones.

Ah, right. Thanks for the response man! Kind of a bummer that I won’t be able to be downstairs watching the game and browsing Waypoint simultaneously, though

Waypoint doesn’t let you choose your version of it, it forces you to one based on screen size. Trust me i tried to force it by changing my User-Agent.

Yea I noticed that.
On a computer, make the window smaller and the version goes to the mobile version
