Ninja tips in Halo 5: thruster or no thruster?

Um

  1. stop shooting at the floor and shoot at the enemy
  2. stop shooting at your teammates and shoot at the enemy
    I have more, but they all pretty much translate to stop being stupid and shoot at the enemy

I understand what you are trying to do. My advice: Don’t do it. It is A) Annoying and B) Easily countered.

I’d say no thruster unless they’re REALLY far away. Otherwise, a quick jump should work.

Might be better off in Swat if you are really working on getting assassinations. Easier to sneak up on people without the radar.

congrats on not dying… but stop that. I feel like I’m watching my 8 year old play halo. He always goes for the assassination… no matter what!

I like the thruster, my only tip would really be to use it to get quick cover. I don’t find it useful for much else. Sometimes bridging the gap in long jumps, or sidestepping a sword or charging opponent but really it’s best used to dodge fire and gain cover.

Found this. It is for Halo 4 but same technique applies to 5.

1.-See if the enemy team are not fighters
2.-figure 8 meters, jump,use the thruster, wait a few .300s and hit

It seems like it was easier for people to do it in Halo 4. I haven’t seen it much in 5. I wish people did it so I could get free assassinations on them (just jump). That being said, I hope you learn it.

No trusther it stops you from doing anything while you use it for that point second

I did that in a Reach game and got 2 ninjas almost back to back when I was pretending to shoot at an enemy. It does work occasionally.
