Microsoft announced at E3 that they acquired a few studios, one being Ninja Theory. NT has made games like Heavenly Blade, Enslaved Odyssey to the West, the DMC reboot, and most recently Hell Blade: Senua’s Sacrifice. Looking at this track record it’s clear that third person action is their bread and butter, each game they’ve gotten better at the genre. As much as I love new IP and really hope they’re working on one, I’d also like to see them take on Halo in their mastered genre. Just as an example maybe the story could focus around the Elites and Brutes as they have the most melee focused background but obviously gameplay wise it would also include gunplay because it is Halo after all, can’t go full on melee combat solely. Thoughts?
