Nightfall?

I dont know if this has been posted already. Is anyone having issues viewing the first episode of Nightfall? Every time i try and play it it tells me to play the MCC to watch this episode. Ive tried viewing it through the game itself but Im still having no luck.

Any help on this issue would be greatly appreciated. If this topic has already been answered please direct me to the answer. I shall be most grateful

Have either of you tried to reinstall the Halo Channel? I did that last night and managed to get it to work.

  • Uninstall Halo Channel and Nightfall- Power off Xbox / Power back on- Install Halo Channel- Launch and try watchingIf it doesn’t work straight away, I’m not sure what could be wrong. Maybe try loading another couple of videos or the twitch stream and then navigate back.

edit Also, can you guys say how you got access to Nightfall - like do you have the physical copy of MCC and redeemed a code or did you buy digital?
Seeing some other people posting about the issue here

thanks Stckrboy. Ill give that a go when i get back to the xbox.

Ive been able to play other vids through Halo Channel, played the 2nd episode preview and that worked fine, hopefully your fix will work.

Oh and to answer your question, i bought the physical copy and redeemed the code, i prefer the physical copies coz it looks like I actually own games then. :blush:

Same thing happened but this works…open the MCC and go to extras and go to the nightfall tab and click it, after that it should let you watch it :slight_smile: it’s pretty good btw

i have this problems too, but on the pc.

Someone have any idea to fix this little … mistake?

Its telling me to buy Halo TMCC… I came to that Nightfall menu from TMCC :frowning:

Just restart both game and app, if that doesn’t work then hard restart your xbone and try again, it should work after that. It did for me at least.

Finally got home and back on the xbox, did the whole uninstall/reinstall thing and it appears to be working now. Looking forward to checking it out but Ive got to do my dailys on another (less impressive) game.

I’ve tryed all of these solutions still getting an endless buy hmcc the to halo channel and Back to hmcc I’ve uninstalled the channel and the nightfall and reset my catch and reinstalled to no avail I’m now getting angry as all my friends have seen it an all I get is BUY HALO …BUT I HAVE HALO that’s where for the last 10 mins I’ve been switching to

Yep. I haven’t tried in the last couple of hours, but I doubt it’s changed for me either.

Digital Copy. Ive reset the system multiple times. Uninstalled MCC, halo channel and the nightfall add on multiple times and no change
