I’m not sure, but if you do get the armour, then considering you can just watch that half–Yoinked!- show on youtube (that pales in comparison to Forward Unto Dawn imo), paying just for a cosmetic item seems a bit stupid.
you should get it as soon as you finish watching nightfall, because that’s how i got it.
Seems hit or miss. I saw someone say that they paid to watch nightfall and they’re still waiting to receive it. Type “nightfall” in the search bar. There are plenty of posts to skim through to make a decision.

you should do 
You have to watch it via the halo channel. Honestly I recommend just downloading the halo channel onto your desktop, buying nightfall, and fast forwarding through it on your computer. You get an unlock for each second story. A second story unlocks automatically when you hit a certain point in each episode, and I think it’s like 3-4 per episode. Plus the channel is easier to navigate on a computer and you can actually see what you’ve unlocked and what you still need.
If you buy it and watch the entire series on the Halo Channel you should get your armor. It won’t be immediate doe.
I managed to watch Nightfall for free on the Halo Channel on my Xbox… then I obtained the armour when I played Halo 5: Guardians…

Were you using someone’s Xbox or did the main account on your Xbox own it? I don’t think you have to own nightfall, you just have to successfully watch it using your gamertag.

As I understand it, and correct me if I’m entirely wrong here, you can actually get the Nightfall armor in REQ packs like any other piece of equipment. It’s just that viewing Nightfall on the Halo Channel gets you REQ packs that guarantee those armor pieces. Or it’s supposed to anyway, I’ve seen a number of threads about people have trouble getting it to unlock or in some cases stay unlocked.

Yes correct. I’m asking if I buy Nightfall and watch from Halo Channel, will I still be guaranteed those packs?
It’s glitched, so it will sometimes re-appear as locked in your inventory, both armor and helmet.
they should pay you to watch that hot garbage, bored me to tears.

the armor is ugly but u need to watch specific episodes to get the armor or just watch the whole thing lol
