Nightfall new O.D.S.T?

Yes I got into an argument over this. I was told that the nightfall armor is ODST armor. Am I wrong in thinking this, that it might be a variant of ODST armor, but it is not the original ODST armor?

Nightfall is ONI’s version or variant of the ODST Armor. It uses elements of the ODST armor combined with others.

Pretty sure the Helljumper I’m wearing is ODST armour.

Again a variant of ODST, it has ODST armor parts and Spartan armor parts. I would call Helljumper the Spartans twist on ODST armor

Nightfall is NOT ODST, neither is Helljumper
