Can I still watch the episodes on halo tv on my xbox to get the nightfall gear? Last time I checked you could, but haven’t found out if it’s still possible.
You can get the Nightfall set in one of two ways:
- Buy the entire Nightfall series and watch it through the Halo Channel. Most physical copies of Master Chief Collection come with a free code to give you all of the episodes. - Grind out the REQ system. The Nightfall is a Legendary set and is only available in Gold Packs.

I recommend you to get it through the Req system,as there are some issues with the other way.

There was a time where I gave my code away - because I had Nightfall already - to someone on the site and they got the set just fine. So I guess as long as you follow the steps carefully, things should work out.

I followed the steps also carefully.
But it didnt work even after several attemps.
It is an random occuring issue.

That’s a real shame honestly. 
I skipped to the end of every single episode and I still got the Nightfall armor.
Halo Channel is horrendously buggy, and no one from MS or 343 has bothered to fix it as of yet. Best you can hope for is that it actually works.
For once…
I tried to watch all 5 episodes even the side stories of every episode via the MCC menu and no reward.
I’ve retried from the halo Channel app and even aftr that from the halo 5 menu… still the same not a single reward
Damn it, I could’ve had a proper Armor for free and it’s buggued. I don’t find the halo 4/5 multiplayer armors beautiful or even a bit realistic besides those in singleplayer 
its more easy unlock by gold req pack!
I bought nightfall for the armor and extras in MCC. Then I realized I had a code that came with MCC, boy I felt dumb.
