I rented and watched all of Halo: Nightfall and have not gotten my armor or helmet. What the heck 343?!?
You have to buy and watch it on the Halo Channel app and then redeem it there for it to work. I don’t think you can get the armor from renting the discs.

^ Correct - the Movies and TV has not way of interacting with Halo 5 or your Waypoint account. The Halo Channel app does as it was designed to hook into Halo 5’s APIs, saying that the armour can be obtained from Gold packs now as it’s in the REQ inventory

As I said, you don’t need to buy it ti get the armour. You can get it for free just by playing Halo 5 and unlocking it in a REQ pack. I’m sure Nightfall was bundled with MCC as well
I have seen and revised many times halo nightfall and all the second stories but I have all 8 rewards stuck. Armor and helmet are not essential to play, they certainly do not give you an edge, but if they are because they do not unlock? I’ve seen 5 times all the episodes and I’m a bit tired 
If you really want that Nightfall set, I think I got a Nightfall code sitting around. I have no real use for it as I think the mini-series is kinda boring, and I already got the armor set the hard way. I’ll message it to you when you need it.
