Next week warzone assault will be full of quitters

The biggest issue people have right now is the armory glitch.

However that’s not the core issue.

The reason the glitch is used is becasue the Spire on Apex 7 is almost an automatic win for the defending team

At least most see it this way. Those that care so much about their kd will leave immediately if they are attacking and most will just quit because they are attacking.

I love warzone assault but I do see the issues with spawns and obvious advantages.

Sad to say I am predicting a huge population drop in that playlist and at least double the quit frequency

Defending on the spire is definitely not an automatic win. I win 50% of the time whether I’m defending or not. I have no problems with the spawns either. I’m curious as to why so many people complain about it.

I hate the maps where people can shoot from a ridiculously advantageous spot because spawns are so predictable…

Spire is one of them but the top of the garage while shooting at tunnel spawners is the WORST!

As homegrown480 said, taking over the spire is most certainly not impossible. Yeah it is the hardest of the 3 starting bases to conquer no doubt but the main issue that makes it seem so hard is that people keep forgetting one major thing: cutting off the defending team’s spawn. If you split your team in two groups: one attacking the spire and one going around and harrassing the everloving hell out of the attacking team as they spawn, you stand a far greater chance of capturing the base as opposed to what most teams do: just bum rush the spire and hope for the best.

And I really doubt the population is going to drop by that much when the armory fix comes online. I’ve had plenty of matches where the attacking team does not take advantage of the glitch and while some people do tend to quit that is more of a problem with Halo’s community rather than something to do with Warzone or this map in particular.

The Spire is tough to get back, I’ve only seen it taken back for two different reasons.

  1. Opposing team abandons it completely to take down a 150pt boss.
  2. Opposing LOSES their mind and leaves it unguarded.

I’ve only ever seen it taken back by our team in a striaght fight once and that was when I saw two guys drive a Warthog up there and drive round and round shooting/splatting the opposing team for long enough for the rest of the team to hold it.

I don’t like Warzone assault :frowning:

If anyone cared about their KD, they wouldn’t be in Warzone to begin with :stuck_out_tongue:

Toughest 1st base to capture in my experiences has tended to be the Fortress. Spire’s never really caused too many problems, even without exploiters taking the armory. That’s just my experiences of course. I can’t help but feel the newcomer Noctus will be pretty frustrating in Assault when it comes up.
