Just wanted to make a thread to discuss the next update what do you guys think will be in this one? shouldn’t we of heard something by now to about the next one?
If I understand correctly the next community update won’t be until sometime in the new year. It could be Friday, Saturday or sometime next week for all we know. The last community update said they were moving into a new building so between that and the holidays we won’t hear nothing.
What will be in the next update -
Maps for arena and warzone most likely
Possible that they add more playlists to social
More Req stuff to add to the collection
What I want to be in the update -
I want the game servers worked on. Issues are arising again, and some of the older issues still haven’t been fixed. Played almost an entire warzone match with AR/Pistol combos because the req system was broken. Would like to see the req system fixed as well, half the time I can’t access it. I would also like to see the issues from disconnects fixed, not everyone quits games. Not here to condone nor condemn 343, I just want to see game and community grow. Issues such as this and the way Master Chief Collection was shipped, and forgot about, has steered many former fans away.
hopefully new game modes and 56 new maps. plus a playlist ranking system. what i mean is just like h3 had it, every win youd get 1 exp and would rank up that playlist.
I just want more gametypes personally.

I like your issues to because i fall into this category especially with the broken REQ system happened to me quite a few times today. DO you know what i would truly like?, An option to choose my server so i could search for an EU match only etc I find if i play after 6pm GMT time it becomes much harder as i notice i am playing Americans more And the latency at times can be a pain I Am in the UK and if i am playing Some Americans and the server happens to be on the West coast than it truly can be a painful match for me. Least if i had the choice and their was no match i could then have the option to then do a global search. I know America is a big market to sell games but so is the EU potentially it actually has a lot more customers they should take advantage of that but companies never seem to.

Yes it certainly needs the old classics including in someway like integrate them into forge even

I couldn’t agree more, EU is a huge market for games as well. Personally I believe it would make sense for EU to have servers that they could choose from and like you pointed out if no games are found then do a global search. That is one thing that I enjoyed about Halo Reach, and 3 I believe because I could customize my searches for good connection, faster searches, etc. Maybe it’s a money issue, a technical issue, etc. no idea but it sucks for those who aren’t in the U.S. from what I’ve read for the most part. At the same time, being in the U.S. we have had our own technical problems as well. Pick your poison I suppose.
I’m hoping that they’ll add the infection/flood gametype in the next update.

I think its either due to being rushed really it wouldn’t cost them much to of done it they have two azure server locations one being in Ireland the other in the Netherlands If i play in the day time its amazing how high my kill count is then as it gets later its as though i am coming under the effects of time slowing down in game because i can empty whole clips and bash someone and they still kill me at times it can be most frustrating lol. Yes i did read somewhere some issues to do with Time Warner cable or something?. I am praying in a future update our prayers get answered Even a ping meter would rule.
I’m hoping for that Needle Rifle that they teased in the video for the December update. However, I also hope that by the time they show it to us, they’ve already given it a new skin instead of letting it stay as a Carbine with a few green glowy bits recolored to purple.
I can understand/accept using the Carbine model for the teaser as a quick proof-of-concept, but the final version should have its own distinctive appearance.
Personally, I want campaign AI, enemy framerate, and texture pop-in updates.
Updayes are annoying, no more please.
I would kill for some real btb maps
Server issues hopefully. Can’t get a game at the moment 
I think that the good game modes should be added in the next update, such as Infection, KOTH, Oddball, and maybe even Dominion.
They aren’t giving us anything . Sorry See you Febuary
New Gametypes, More Arena maps, a social slayer playlist (w/o snipers) and for Overgrowth to have its power weapons tweaked substantially
