Anyone got an idea if there is a new update for Halo 5 in the near future or if there is any future content planned at all? Thanks and sorry if there is already a post about this.
So far no more content updates have been given a date, hell I don’t know if they confirmed at least one more update. I wouldn’t be shocked if at least one more update came out, it would be the last.
This was in the Halo Waypoint News last week:
The team has finished work on a small maintenance update for Halo 5 that is currently targeted for release the second week of March. This update will address a few issues but the primary focus is fixing bugs related to Forge. We’ll have the full patch notes on Waypoint sometime soon.

After the launch of Anvil’s Legacy back in September, they confirmed that there would be at least two more content updates. The first one of these was Monitor’s Bounty in December, so it’s safe to assume that there will be at least one more.
My guess is second quarter for a new map or other DLC.

That doesn’t count as a content update. There’s one more content update to come.

I really don’t think the next update will be the last, but if I had to guess what the next update would be, it would probably be themed around Halo Wars 2.
Uff I hope we do get an update, a little bit more love for Halo 5 
Ya there will be one more big content release. And the bug fix update in a week or two.
From what ive heard its going to be Brute themed.
Hopefully Halo Wars 2 related, maybe some Brute or Banished gear
I think that halo is a good game right now but it could use some tweaks, like more customizing and guns like the spiker and the mauler
Game is going on to year 2. I don’t think there will be much more content added to the game, the team is probably more focused on Halo Wars 2 and whatever else they are working on behind the scenes.
If there’s an update coming, 343 is taking it’s merry ol’ time with it.
I hope there is another dlc drop. But I am not hopeful nor expecting a big one. Happy with how the game has evolved. But always wanting more content as tgis is my primary go to game.
I’d guess two more content drops. Late March/early April, and one right around E3. Don’t expect anything after E3 tho.

I think they would of told us if there wasn’t going to be any more content updates. I’m fairly certain we’ve got at least 1-2 more. There’s still quite a bit of content that GameCheat13 has found that isn’t in the game quite yet. They seem to be pretty polished up.
One of them being another Grenade Launcher.
A whole bunch of weapon skins.
And I’m assuming some sort of Brute Tech weapons.
