- A Forge that does not Crash the game, - Scripting and Object selection bugs fixed - I want all the cool Stuff we had in past forges back, Gravity/water/trait Volumes, The Grid Object, Kill balls, One way shields (they were excellent trampolines), Golf balls and holes, And last but definitely not least, THE ELEPHANT(Or a Spiritual Successor) !!!Seriously I really miss the Elephant. A giant fortress vehicle I could Drive across the map, that could be mobile objective locations. I really miss that mechanic. But Stability and bug fumigation must come first.
I agree with most of these posts.
Here’s a few I would also like:
- An undo option. Sometimes I go to move a piece but forgot I am still holding a piece and move both, then I have to redo placing the previous one. A simple undo button would be nice
- The HUD should be scrolled across the bottom with small images of the buttons. I feel like I have to study the thing hard to see it and the UI could do a better job of giving me a picture of the controls. Maybe even have the back button bring up a control image with what does what.
- All pieces that are basically just simple shapes should be available in all sizes and all you should need to do is enter dimensions. I find it strange there is no way to do this and that some pieces do not have a 16x16x16 but they have 16x16x32 or something.
- Ability to color decals. IDK why you can’t, but it would be very simple.
- Remove world boundary markers when a Spartan. Makes it hard to see the map for what you want people to see it as.
- Give us player options so we can test specific settings.
- Make us invincible as the monitor.
- Add a script to set an object in perpetual motion/rotation.
- Add scripts to change object color.
- Add a “dummy” that can be placed that is equal in size to an actual Spartan. These could be for testing purposes, decoys, etc.

That first one is a big deal. I’ve had Forge crash several times now. I figured out one way it happens; Script an object to despawn/spawn from an interactive switch, and have it set to be despawned at the start, then save/quit re-enter delete the object without hitting the switch, then press the switch. When you try to grab the object as the monitor the whole game crashes. I’ve had it happen several time for the same exact reason, thankfully I was only messing around with scripting not really making anything. Also selecting/grouping/duplicating too many objects crashes the game. Simple fix, just have a hard limit for number of objects selected.
I hope to see blank maps… unless someone has already done them…

Know what else we need? Square blocks with holes in them. I’m working on a map where I’m using the rings to make windows and stuff, but where the ring connects to the wall I have to place like 15 pieces to make it look like a hole in the wall. There should be pieces that will basically “square out” the various size rings so you can use them as holes/windows.
- Fix the spawning in forge, *must have a hard reset spawn if all other spawns have been deleted/misplaced.
- Previews of highlighted items/props in the menu, for ease of finding things.
- More actual props, its great having lots of primitives but hopefully we can add some more different styles of props to use (covenant, flood, Promethean)
- Game modes and gravity hammers, we need grifball!
- File browser 2.0 instead of File not found 0.1

A cutting tool maybe? so we can carve tunnels and holes into primitives?
im not sure if you can but i think it would be nice in scripting if you could scripting object to change state from fixed/phased to normal

Haha yeah damn making Door ways are annoying… making good looking door ways even worse… it should not take more then one piece for a door way
