343 or whoever reads this a new game breaking bug has surfaced and its ruining ranked play. Players are exploiting a glitch that makes Colony’s Hero unit and attached drones invincible in garrisons and players are ruining ranked matches by excessively exploiting this tactic. My team hit the Hero unit with 4 scarab units and all are units at max capacity combined all at once and it still wouldn’t die and we held the fire for a good two minutes.
For people who are the victim of this cruel tactic I suggest rerouting half of your units to being cannon food to keep its fire away from your base and the other half supporting team mates. Seriously we even hit the damn thing with all are powers at maxed in addition to the scarabs and still nothing. As soon as it hits halfway in health it immediately regenerates all health and after awhile it takes no damage whatsoever.
I would also like to mention that on maps that have garrisons in front of bases Colony parks its -Yoink- in those and just harass your base the entire game.
This is definitely true. I found this post because it just happened to us. Weak B.S. I’m growing sick of this game. No matter how many patches they come up with, everyone is going to try and do the gayest possible thing they can find. I have had maybe 10 legit games the rest have been combating some lame OP army or rush. I have 200 wins and 100 losses and I still hate it.
be nice if they would just NERF locusts not on the attack power but on their damage/health and get rid of that stupid shield or make it all weaker like halo wars 1 and make it about strategy again… or make it so if the colony leader garrisons that hes VERY suceptable to grenades or flamers or snipers… I mean yeah hes a strong slow -Yoink- unit but at least while in garrison make his -Yoink- not a TON stronger… he already has a ton of health it doesn’t need to be doubled… still think its a good tactic but make it so he doesn’t get so much of a garrison bonus… still a bonus but something to counter it.

See thats the thing he should be weak to flame units due to the burn and anti infantry unit advantage, and all heroes besides kisano and forge count as infantry I believe and I kept chucking them at him and he just eats them

Unfortunately, especially in ranked games, this sort of thing is all-too-rife. It’s the problem with ranked games in general: people find an imbalance in the game and exploit it until it can be fixed.
It’s human nature. Sadly human nature is faster to react than patches and testing and deployments
