This is an idea off of the Halo 2 button combinations glitches that provided the online gamer the ability to BXR, BRB, ext. Creating a button combination that triggered instead of an accidental glitch, but the next evolution in First Person Shooter Games. These button combinations could trigger such strikes as a Mixed Martial Artist would or some type of Spartan striking. This would completely alter the melee system. I’m positive several people will agree it has been outdated for quite some time. Honestly with this the ideas are limitless. To me the thing that made Halo 2 so competitive online was the BXR’s and BXB’s and so fourth because it provided a much more fast paced gameplay that really got your blood pumping and gamer sweat on. I can’t imagine the rush of feeling my enemy on the end of a stunning air kick, devastating takedown, brutal slam, or deadly three hit combo. I sincerely hope this helps, please contact me if you like the idea.

Yep, I would love for bxr and double shotting to be back but unfortunately its probably not happening.
I disagree, First Person Shooter are not fighting games. The focus of the games should be on shooting and skill, not your ability to memorize button combos.

I’m taking no side on this argument, but buttom combos in fighting games require an unprecedented amount of skill. It’s more than just memorization.
Stupid button combos are not coming back, and neither is halo 2. Both are dead and buried in the dirt. Get your head out of 2004 and deal with it.

Oh I know, but you still have to memorize them. I, and I bet most of the community, play Halo to sit down and relax and just shoot stuff. Having to know a bunch of button combos would take away from the whole sitting back part.
Of course, that depends on the amount of button combos, but I still firmly believe that they are not something that belong in Halo.
