Just a quick post about what options I think we need for some unique armor.
Head
-helmet
-flashlight,camera etc.
-VSR color
Body
-chest piece
-Thruster pack (twin boosters on the back)
-undersuit color
-extra (ammo pack, bullets, bags)
Arms
-schoulder left
-schoulder right
-wrist
-extra (com links, ammo, bullets, somewhat like reach)
legs
-legs
-feet
-utility (bags, hard case, etc.)
Extra
-Knife location (shoulder, body, chest)
-Armor effects
-Lights the color of the tiny lights on the armor
And as final thought, 343 bring back CQB armor its a classic like recon and EVA.
I liked the ideia the armors of halo reach are badass
I like this. It’s basically a more customizable Reach armor system. And I’m all for bringing back CQB; that was my favorite.
A lot of the extras were called “up-armor” in Reach. I’d love to see it make a come back, only not limited to just one particular set of armor. For instance, tactical cameras can be added to any helmet, not just specific ones.
And the idea of changing your underarmor color is a good one – just make sure it’s different from Halo 4’s implementation, where your primary color also changed your underarmor. There should be a black base that remains unchanged, lest we wind up looking like Power Rangers again.
I like this idea, an improvement to halo reach system.
I thought halo reach had the best armor and customize and this makes it better
