Semsey’s tweet comes in response to a post on the Xbox Wire detailing what’s in store this year for Xbox One owners. According to Semsey, Halo on Xbox One was not listed because 343 has yet to settle on an official title.
Granted, Semsey’s tweet is more than a little vague. He could be referring to Halo 5, he could be referring to the Halo game teased at E3 2013—which may be Halo 5 or a separate Halo entry—or he could be referring to Spartan Ops Season Two (although speculation right now is that Season Two would be attached to Halo Xbox One debut).
Semsey could also be talking about another spinoff game in the same vein as the top-down shooter Spartan Assault. Not impossible, though the least likely scenario. The only Halo project on public radar right now is the Xbox One title.
Either way you slice it, something Halo-related is set to arrive this year, presumably in the fall.

EDIT: For Halo X1, idk if its specifically Halo 5, or another game in between it and 4. Perhaps they are simply showing us MC’s journey WITHIN the 6 month gap leading up to SpOps, or after that, but un related to the main story. All i know, is i want to meet Blue Team.
Spartan Assault us already out on Xbox One, it was released on Xmas.
I want halo 5…but I also would LOVE a halo wars 2…Kinect powered if possible

First of all, your speculation is not everyone’s speculation.
Secondly, 343i has announced they have no plans for a Spartan Ops Season 2:

Spartan ops season 1 was fail… 2 maps, and it lost more 95% of population as they took achievement… Or 343 will take it like bungie or they will create something that will not be so boring… And how boring is that they give up from season 2 for now on Halo 4…

Clearly he is late to the party, thats why he posted this in the first place. You’d think his Waypoint rank would have made that obvious enough.
Still, it is true, there are no plans for a new spartan ops. I think its clear that Escalation was supposed to be the new season of spartan ops, but for obvious reasons they turned it into a comic.
