So what do people think about what the next Halo game will be? I’ve seen a lot of videos recently talking about what they think the next Halo game will be (e.g. another game like Reach or ODST or just Halo 6 - continuing the story of Master Chief) and I just wanted to see what the community thought. What ever the next Halo title is, I’m sure it’ll be fun!

They release a main title every 3 years with side titles like reach, wars, odst, etc. to fill in the gaps between. Most likely H3A considering 2017 is the 10th anniversary.
probably Halo 6 or whatever the next mainline game will be called.

Personally, I’m hyped for the next Halo. Can’t wait to see how 343 managed to outdo H5 multiplayer
Halo 6. It better have the HW2 art style too 
The next Halo game will more likely be Halo 6. But if we do get another spin off game they really should make an entire covenant based game where you play as the arbiter or maybe as Jul or one of his top elites in the covenant vs swords war on Sanghelios. We are long over due for a covie based game. Or maybe a stand alone H3 anniversary styled like H2A that would nice.

but that would be a full project for them to work on and plus it would have to be released 2018. 343i have also said that no halo fps wold be released in 2017

Probably cause they never played the OG H3 and would rather have another sub par Halo title like 4 and 5 were then a remake of easily the greatest Halo multiplayer of all time.
I hope it has the same features of reach where you could be an elite, and 343 Needs to bring back all of the weapons and vehicles from the older games. Well maybe not all of the weapons and vehicles, but most of them with the new astounding graphics.

Can you provide a source for that? I’ve never heard that.

Does no one understand 343 doesn’t directly touch the Anniversaries? They touched the MCC because of how big a project that was, but if they do H3A like CEA was, then 343 will only provide basic overwatch while Sabre Interactive remasters the campaign(if they choose to use H2A’s assets that’s already 50% of the work done), and Certain Affinity remasters the multiplayer(if they choose to and not simply use Halo 5’s multiplayer as a template on classic maps).

It was Phil Spencer that said it a few weeks back. Don’t have a link handy, but it’s super quick to look up. No Halo or Gears FPS titles this year which means no Halo 3 Anniversary

Jul would be awesome
I really want another ODST game. Mabye a prequel to the first ODST game.
