Anybody else see the potential of a skillfully executed and balanced infection mode in H5:G? I loved Halo: Reach’s Living Dead, especially Alpha Zombies. But Halo 4’s Flood, while having an awesome concept in having the “infected as flood”, was a seriously unbalanced and messy disappointment. But with these new Spartan Abilities in Halo 5, I can only imagine “Flood” being amazing and heart pumping. I feel like it would be less “campy” and more “on the go” with the mobility options in Halo 5. Thrusting from ledge to platform to roof top with the good ol’ shotty/magnum combo all while being pursued by scary agile zombies? Count me in…
And I would love to see Alpha Zombies return with the Alpha Zombies spawning with an Energy Sword and a Gravity Hammer, while the “killed to be infected” zombies spawn with only an Energy Sword. Also… Ground Pounding zombies (or “Flood”) would be rad. Some well designed maps could allow this game mode to be very fun and addictive.
