It’s actually pretty damn stupid about how 343 went about all of this. The problem I’m going to have is knowing just like Bungie they will make adjustments but half--Yoink!- it and call it good.
Ok and my point is that even if Halo 5s launch was bare It still had more on launch than infinite does
Man you are really good at just saying the same stuff over and over again. I hope you realize how unintentionally hilarious your rants are to read. Classic internet stuff.
Na your trolling. Same circular straw man arguments. I’m done with you
Na your trolling. Same circular straw man arguments. I’m done with you
Was it because you shot yourself in the foot by saying if a dev announces BEFORE LAUNCH that a feature isn’t going in it means that the game was complete? Because that was so unintentionally stupid it made me laugh.
What? I never said that. I never said.
“Someone saying a feature isn’t in makes it a complete game”.
That’s why I’m done with you. Seriously just stop replying at this point. No one here agree with you and your not making any new or valid points
You do realize that using this same logic, that Halo 1-4 are all superior to Halo 5 right?
Halo Infinite does have variants… I take it you didn’t play its Campaign?
This is true but the same could’ve been said for Halo 5 at launch. They’ll add stuff over time.
Finally. Something useful to argue about.
I think Warzone was a bit annoying to play because of how many AI’s they’d spawn on the map, that’s not to say that I’m against AI’s in PvP completely, just that they were too central to the overall battle. Its a difficult balance and I don’t know how to make it work right.
What? I never said that. I never said.
Yeah that apology came BEFORE launch. So again. Failed argument
Here it is. In response to the bit about something being missing from the game before launch. You made an excuse for Halo 5 because they admitted a feature was missing prior to launch and apologized for it after I said it was an incomplete game for said missing feature.
Pretty sure you can use the variants in custom games as well. They aren’t in regular matchmaking though.
Then again, they weren’t outside of Warzone in 5 either (unless you count the wackiness that was Super Fiesta)
Yes. Halo 1-4 ARE better games than 5. But he was directly comparing 5, a MEDIOCRE game, having more features than Infinite.
Again, the context is multiplayer. Now, it’s up in the air whether or not variants will be added to multiplayer but either way they aren’t in multiplayer so… yeah.
Yeah it is true. It’s honestly a shame that this -Yoink!- is to be expected from modern games. But even with all that said, Halo 5 still had more. It was missing a lot sure. But it also had a lot more than Infinite. See, the argument isn’t that Halo 5 is great and Infinite is just a bad game. It’s that the worst game in the series has more content.
And for the record, this of course is gonna read ranty and rude, but I’m replying in good faith that we’re having a conversation. I feel like that goes without saying but you can never be too sure. Nothing against you, not insulting you or anything.
Bro. I don’t want loot boxes. I’m simply saying that Halo 5s system was at least better than what we got now
It doesn’t have multiplayer and custom games varaints like Halo 5 had and those campagin variants aren’t the same ones as Halo 5s either.
Adding stuff over time is a bad thing. They shouldn’t have to add anothying for a good year or two. But now it’s ganna take more than that to get back to where we were in halo 5.
Warzone was fun. It didn’t play it often and I get it was annoying to some but looking back it, it’s more of an “experience” than the Halo infinite btb is
Unfortunately you can’t use them in custom games. If you’ve seen the videos floating around that show that, I believe that was a datamine/ reverse engineered. With that being said, it’s up in the air whether or not variants come around for actual multiplayer.
Server issues?
Collision is not in the game. I still see people running through each other.
Collision was never ever and issue in Halo. I still can’t understand why it was taken out.
No collision only creates more problems.
Ah. Well that’s dumb.
No way! Random unlocks were unbearably
Why would they offer gold packs when it took longer to buy only gold packs? You had to grind silver packs to eventually get legendary stuff from gold packs
I don’t want loot boxes either
Halo 5 multiplayer was supported by loot boxes and the subscription cost of Xbox Live, both of which the large majority of players hate.
The best possible way to keep a live service game alive is to have monetized cosmetics.
Thing is regardless of how it was set up I was still able to play for everything. Which I did. Right now I would’ve had a couple of skins in halo 5 but right now I only got a visor I’m halo infinite. Huge difference
No Halo game has been F2P, and the closest one to it was Halo 5. Now out of the 12 updates that halo 5 received, only 4 of them actually added DLC for maps, and only 9 og the 15 maps added were new maps, with 3 being half copies of existing warzone maps, and the other 3 being empty forge canvases. Price per map in dlc has gone from about 3 bucks per map in halo 3 / reach days, to over 5 bucks in halo 4 and then * for halo 5. Halo 5 had a system of reqs that could be purchased multiple times, I know spergs that wasted hundreds on the horrible req system. A lot of us saw this coming, but just because you know a trainwreck is on its way doesn’t mean you want it to happen. YOUR reply is the dumbest statement I have seen on this forum to date, because it proves you have no idea what you are talking about.
Truly, I made 152 on halo 5, and HATE the req system.

This is why I was skeptical of it being delayed in the first place, I questioned whether or not the year would be spent on anything besides graphics and from the looks of things it was not.
We are just some thirsty Cheetas in a barren desert of content, I feel your pain. That being said it can turn itself around ala Sea of Thieves or No Man’s Sky.
You’ve probably already seen my speculation but I’ll give some good guesses here.
Summary
Leakers found out months back that forge would have navmeshing (which is pathing for AI’s basically) so its been specalated ever since that MP would inevitably allow the Campaign AI into MP, however, it is also possible that Warzone would be relatively simple in this case.
Even ignoring those leaks/datamining, the reality is that the game is sort of built around Warzone already. 12v12 already supported, weapon/vehicle variants, bosses, etc. Not to mention that porting process of Halo 5 assets is likely not too complicated, so I personally thinking they’ll reintroduce Warzone at some point in 2022/2023. Now how exactly will it function compared to Halo 5’s Warzone? Idk, but I am confident they’ll bring it back. Too much potential, and it can coincide with Campaign content as well.
Infinite is so boring right now that I like to make predictions lol, I know, I’m weird
