It’s simple. We want cheaper items in the store, an armor set should NOT be $20, it should be $5. We also want a larger battle pass in future seasons that includes more armor pieces on the free track. As for the event periods, we should be able to level up more than merely seven on any given week.
Damn bro how dense can you be. I said LIKE the carbine and smg. There were so many more weapons than those. SO MANY more. Halo 2 not having the AR is not an argument. That’s ONE weapon. Halo 5 had the AR AND smg. Plus all the variants that came with it. Something Halo infinite doesn’t have.
Actually it’s a tremendous deal. MANY of the custom games that people came to love are based around Halo 5 abilites. Not that that’s gone there is no customs except basic stuff. Super boring. A step backwards.
Bro your only experience is a bigger btb. That’s it. Warzone was a fully fleshed out ai vs player gamemode. Halo infinite has nothing like that. Again. Super boring. A step backwards. We should have warzone AND btb.
An open world that costs $60 bucks isn’t a complete package. You can’t even do co op. Something Halo 5 had at launch. You can’t even replay missions. And on top of that all your doing is running from mission to mission and getting collectables. That’s not new. You can do that in most RPGs. There is no new experience. And it isn’t a comeplete package either.
IM NOT DEFENDING LOOT BOXES. I’m simply stating you can earn everything without paying. You can’t do that in halo infinite. Again. Another step backwards. Not forwards. A step forward would be to remove loot boxes and the store period.
Well I don’t see a damn thing in that list that sez anything about any fixes for the custom games area!
We want cheaper items in the store, an armor set should NOT be $20, it should be $5.
I can’t think of a single modern F2P game that’s this cheap. You’re not gonna get it.
Damn bro how dense can you be
@AlternatVolt I mean all of my points went right over your head so…
Halo 2 not having the AR is not an argument. That’s ONE weapon.
Ah so it’s when the game is specifically missing the Carbine and SMG and not that the game is missing classic weapons. When it’s missing classic weapons in a game you like, it’s okay. When it’s missing classic weapons in Halo Infinite, it’s a problem. Got it.
You can’t even do co op. Something Halo 5 had at launch.
Ah but they advertised split screen and Halo 5 didn’t have that so obviously not a complete package.
That’s not new. You can do that in most RPGs. There is no new experience.
Man this thread is a goldmine for truly stupid comments. You’re saying because other games have features, when those features come to a game series for the first time it’s not “new” to that series? lol
And it isn’t a comeplete package either.
No Halo since Halo:CE has been a complete package. They’re either missing multiplayer maps or weapons from the original Halo CE that are CLASSIC. I decided that they’re classic, so if any game is missing a classic piece of content than it isn’t a complete package. Ergo, nothing since Halo CE has been complete.
Games that don’t have multiplayer but cost full price usually have considerably longer and mode indepth single player experiences.
Infinite’s campaign is short, its open world very repetetive and small. Its environs not terribly diverse. Its missing openworld features games had over a decade ago.
Now yes, not all full price games provide that. But those are the sorts of games I used to rent when renting games was a thing and then never played again.
Funny. I’m dense but your the one skipping every single point I made
Halo 5 at its current moment as more weapons than any other Halo game. So what on earth are you talking about. Second there is a glitch that 343 let us keep with gives us infinite possibilities with the weapons. There was even a forge map dedicated to showing all of them. Literally hundreds. Halo infinite just got a couple of weapons. That’s it. No variants. No custom weapon glitch. Not even classic weapons .
Actually no they did not. They repeatedly said there was no split screen before launch
Yeah. There’s no new experience. Why should I play Halo infinite If I can do everything there in another Halo? Why do you think people are going back to MCC and Halo 5? It’s because there’s literally nothing to do in ifinite
LMAOO.another straw man. Just take a look at what Halo reach and Halo 5 RELASED with. Content rich. That’s the point here. We’re not talking about wether you liked the thruster or not. We’re talking about what the game offers you as a product.
How about you read next time so you don’t repeat yourself
Halo 5 at its current moment as more weapons than any other Halo game
This wasn’t what we were talking about. It was about whether or not a Halo game could be complete if it was missing “classic weapons.” Stick to the topic, I know it’s hard.
Actually no they did not. They repeatedly said there was no split screen before launch
You mean Frank O’Connor apologized for nothing? Weird.
Yeah. There’s no new experience. Why should I play Halo infinite If I can do everything there in another Halo?
You can capture FOBs in an open world in previous Halos? Was that in Halo 5?
Just take a look at what Halo reach and Halo 5 RELASED with. Content rich.
No we’re not talking about content rich. We’re talking about COMPLETE PRODUCT. I’ve arbitrarily decided which things are “classic halo” in the same way you did, and unless they launch with those things they’re incomplete games. Halo 5 didn’t have split screen co-op campaign at launch, ergo INCOMPLETE PRODUCT. And unless a Halo has Boarding Action, along with random other features I designate as classic, it’s obviously not complete.
actually you just changed topic an avowed the talk altogether here not the dude your talking to but rather you
so whose the dense one here?
More than likely they were strong armed by the executives above them. They figured after enough backlash they can give build a case to these executives that changes must be made or their investment would be lost for shareholders.
seeing this many -Yoink!- really reminds me of the pregame lobbies where there was a person who actually knew what they were talking about and a kid who barely plays thinking they’re hot stuff… wonder who is who. Either way the fact that either of them are arguing is stupid, especially when it’s a brick wall you’re talking to…
I advise people to not make purchases at least not until next year. Or until the next Battlepass.
1: prices may change as they said they are looking into it2: content may change so things that were designed to be paid may become free.
And 3 the system may change for cross core customization so the stuff you buy now may stay locked to that core even after that change. And will only affect items after the update if it happens with Cross core customization.
So hold off on store purchases. Wait out their storm, let them fox things and come back and see if they are satisfactory,
Also don’t expect any changes until next year, be ause like many of us, they are getting a holiday break and realistically won’t be working on the game that much.
Which is understandable
This is good advice honestly. It’s a damn shame that it’s even come to this, but this is the best we can do.
No. Now your just putting words in my mouth. I know.its hard to read but keep up man. The point was that Halo 5 is more of a complete game because it had classic weapons AND weapon variants plus new weapons.
Halo infinite is just new weapons and a few classics.
Halo 5 has more and will always have more. In classic, in new AND in variants.
Yeah that apology came BEFORE launch. So again. Failed argument
Halo infnite doesn’t even have co op. Like it has LESS than Halo 5 and ur over here making that argument ?
An open world? Is that your only comeback? You know there’s more than just the campagin when it comes to Halo right? Not everyone comes to Halo for it’s campagin. As of right now other than the campaign. There is literally nothing to do except play basic playlists THAT ALREADY EXSIST IN OTHER HALOS
We’re just going around in circles now. You like the way infnite launched ? Cool. I won’t bend the knee like you. I’ll continute to point out it’s flaws while you try to defend it KNOWING the game is bare. What a shame
Gonna be real I think you’re getting massively trolled. I wouldn’t even bother with that person anymore. I’m starting to get second-hand sweat reading some of these responses…
Right? Like what’s his point?
I’m not defending Halo 5 OR Halo infinite. I’m simply pointing out that we had more back then and that is a objective fact
you keep changing the subject thats what you did
Oh yeah and what was that?
I pointed out that Halo 5 had more objectively and he says that’s not the case because HE didn’t like the game himself. Hes talking about his own opinion on the game and I’m talking about what you get as a package when you buy the game on launch to which you actually do get more with Halo 5
I really hope they add a lot of good things to custom games.
Playing custom games in Halo 3 was awesome, and I’m guessing there were a lot of good custom games in Halo 5 with all of the features it had.
I’d like to see Warzone added to have some more variety, but I’d also really like to see some other modes like Battle Royale and platforming.
It depends on what’s in the open world.
Skyrim and New Vegas have so much content that they’re worth $60, even without co-op.
I haven’t played Infinite’s campaign yet, but from what I’ve heard, it doesn’t have much to do, and it’s almost pointless.
I think they should keep the store, but loot boxes shouldn’t have ever existed.
hes talking about complete package which 5 didnt have for a good while thats what he was talking about
The point was that Halo 5 is more of a complete game because it had classic weapons AND weapon variants plus new weapons.
Did it have Boarding Action from original Halo:CE? Did Halo 2 have the assault rifle?
Halo infinite is just new weapons and a few classics.
Halo 2 not a complete game because no Assault Rifle.
Yeah that apology came BEFORE launch. So again. Failed argument
So if they mentioned it BEFORE launch then its okay and is a complete game. Then… by your logic Halo Infinite admitted to not having split screen, forge, etc. before launch and therefor is a complete game.
An open world? Is that your only comeback?
You said you can do everything that Halo Infinite offers in previous Halo games. I asked about the open world content that’s heavily featured in Halo Infinite.
We’re just going around in circles now.
Pssst. Wanna know why? Because I’m using your own argument against you and then you have to double back and make excuses as to why that argument doesn’t apply to previous Halo games, then I use your excuse for Halo Infinite and then you go back to using the initial argument.
Gonna be real I think you’re getting massively trolled.
@skullybang27 That’s because reading comprehension isn’t your strong suit.
I’m not defending Halo 5 OR Halo infinite.
@AlternatVolt You absolutely are. When I apply your standard to previous Halo games you immediately jump to their defense with a standard that you refuse to apply to Halo Infinite.
