Flood Infection.
It is indeed!
It was recently revealed that it would be in Halo 4 under a brand new name called ‘Flood’.
The infected play as flood infected Spartans who use their claws to kill the survivors.
It is unknown at this time if you’ll be able to use the classic Infection settings like Halo 3 & Reach, but we know that much at least.
Ah man! Waiting is too painful now! I need to see a Flood match!

Agreed! There’s only two things I want to see now:
- Flood Mode gameplay
- Forge
But since I already got some Forge, I REALLY WANT Flood Mode gameplay! Flood Mode the #1 thing I’m excited about in Halo 4.

We can’t post links of where to read it or pictures of it. We can only discuss it. That’s why Waypoint doesn’t have information about it. It is big news, but it’s big news that, in a way, hasn’t been shown yet.
A French magazine posted information on the new “Flood” playlist after the journalism embargo was lifted for H4 info. The Halo Council had a nice post on their site, see for yourself.
I’m hoping that we get a variety of “Flood” classes. If that’s too much, perhaps Armor Abilites for the Flood to release tiny flood spores, wall crawl, etc. Nonetheless, this is the most exciting news since the 3 forge environments! They finally fixed infection…HUGE thanks to 343!

Yes they’re serious. When you become infected, you become a flood.
It is indeed OP, the Flood models themselves are Spartan IV Flood Combat Forms, their right arms have been turned into a grosteque massive claw used for meleeing, and the infection has visibly deformed nearly every part of their bodies. They also are said to use a enhanced vision similiar I would say to a full time Promethean Vision, but probably not as effective as it is.
What will we call it if they are able to wield a magnum in their left hands while still meleeing with the right O.o.
The only thing I find strange is that the Flood playermodels don’t seem to have any of the Flood’s trademark feelers. Oh well, at least they don’t have eyes.
