Ever zoomed in on the weapons in Halo Wars 2? They have some pretty sick weapons. Like this isn’t about the vehicles. The hand-held weapons are pretty sick to look at and should return to Infinite as a FPS weapon. Like that plasma crossbow the Elites use with the Arbiter Leader. Or the splinter grenades that work like throwable claymores. Sound as interesting as returning the flamethrower as well.
Lot of new weapons from a RTS games can come to FPS games… really like the thought of a plasma crossbow though
The plasma crossbow you are referring to is the plasma caster from Halo 5. Off the top of my head I can’t really think of many unique handheld weapons from HW2 except for the cryo throwers that Serina has.

nooo NOOOO It couldnt be. A charged plasma caster opened its edges. The HW2 had it perma opened. that was such a good weapon to be a crossbow…
I don’t know how it would have worked to be an effective plasma launcher but it would have been cool

Its possible the banished version just doesn’t open and close. Or they didn’t bother to animate it since it is small. Or thought having it not animate made it easier to tell the weapon apart at that scale.

In the description for elite enforcers it says its a plasma launcher but I guess its a banishfied one.
