These are a few weapons I though would be cool for Halo 4. Let me know what you think, and if you want suggest your own.
Plasma shotgun - Looks like a long plasma rifle and fires several plasma rounds in a spread. Semi auto. Effective range - slightly farther then the M90 Shotgun.
Grunt Plasma rifle - A plasma rifle that fires green plasma (like a plasma pistol) that does less damage then a plasma rifle, but takes longer to overheat.
Bolt Action Sniper Rifle - A sniper rifle that is a one hit kill on all infantry accept hunters, chieftens, and whatever the strongest elite is. can’t hold as much ammo as the SRS Sniper Rifle, and shoots slower. Has an internal magisine so each bullet needs to be placed in individually (like a Mauser rifle).
I don’t think 343 would use anything like that because these weapon categories are already filled by almost the same gun.
True, but there was the Brute plasma rifle in Halo 2, and the Mauler in Halo 3. I have nothing for the bolt action sniper.
MA2B Assault Rifle- 30-round magazine, 750 RPM rate of fire, kills in 14 shots in MP, very deadly at close range, but runs out of ammo quickly, and has poor range and accuracy (MA5B in Halo CE) (NOTE: this would also supplement the other standard assault rifle- MA5C or w/e which would be a better all-around weapon)
New Sniper- 3 hsk, 2-5x zoom, fires slower than DMR, but faster than SRS sniper
New MG- Gatling turret, but fires alot faster, very powerful and deadly, kills as fast as M41 LAAG on Warthog
Missile Launcher- fires a volley of 4 65mm smart rockets that can lock onto and destroy and vehicle, and SPARTANs/Elites or people alike.

Appreciated, yeah I always thought the MA2B was pretty neat, and wanted to see it in the games- .390 caliber ammunition, high ROF spells bad-a.
I wouldn’t mind having the suppressed SMG’s from ODST.
I like all but the sniper the other 2 are vary versital
The suppressed smg from ODST was really cool especially becaus of the red dot scope or what ever u wish to call it. It was really good in burst of like 3-6 caue of mad recoil as a ODST. But still i perfer it over halo 2/3 smg. Tha and i perfer the sileced pistol in ODST because since its weaker it allows fo a better range of damage for guns with range. Thats why the ce pistol was taken out of halo 2 and the inroduced this pistol so the br could exsist.

Yup, I just wish the scoped pistol and BR could somehow co-exist, in order to do this I think the BR should have increased zoom, maybe like 2.5x zoom or 3x, and also allow a full-auto mode, and make it harder to land 4hsk than the pistol as one burst equals one hs.
