Those jackal scavengers have been getting too close for comfort, and now they have a weapon to make it scary to be that closer to them.
this weapon would have a length of the assault rifle, with 2 chambers horrizontally with needles sticking out of the back. It would fire both shots simmultaniously, dealing massive damage to anybody within melee range, and would explode enemies killed by it into pink mist of typical needler fasion.
It would have a small total ammo allowed to be carried, maybe 10 shots worth, but would still be ten kills worth if used right.
reload would be a little longer than a grenade launcher for both shot.
spread of needles would be like an infinity sign, and useless beyond very close range.
shotgun would always beat this gun in standard close range, this gun would be for stopping power against people who got a drop on you and punched you. or for stopping sword lunges. extreme close range coupled with extreme danger.
i may attempt to draw it, what do you guys think as a new weapon?
Plasma Thrower.
The covenant’s answer to the human flamethrower.
this weapon would spray sticky plasma that would stick and continue to do damage to health/sheilds. slightly longer range for less damage, and an excellent anti-vehicle weapon.
would overheat, with the ammo consumage similar to the focus rifle.
They both sound cool, but there is little chance they will be in the game.
Maybe 343i is listening at the moment and are taking into consideration these weapons…

Power weapon of the century.
The shotgun idea, kind of like it, but I wouldn’t use needles like the needler rounds, I’d use slag rounds like what the spiker rifle slings. Jackels are more or less alien pirates, so I can kind of see them having weapons like that.

As for the Plasma thrower, needs a better idea, but I do agree, would be a great thing to see elites walk around with to fight flood forms.

I just looked for a few minutes and couldn’t find it, sorry. Anyway, yeah, he posted a thread about a week after the Tornado Gun thread, saying that Halo 4 should include robot attack dogs and (seriously, I don’t know what kind of person would think of this) a cat that you could throw at someone, that would then attach to and claw at their head to disrupt their vision.
Sounds amazing.

The Bomb-Dog.
A live siberian husky with bombs strapped to both sides of it. You point him in the right direction, slap his butt, and watch as he takes out a group of elites! It’s fool proof!
