Why not add the warzone firefight maps to regular warzone.
I’ve been really itching for something new, 5 maps is just not enough.
Does anyone feel the same?
The Warzone Firefight maps are the regular Warzone maps. There’s literally no difference.
Are you sure? Not to be rude but it seems as though there are more fire fight maps…
I still think that 5 maps, 3 of which are the original launch maps isn’t enough. It’s been over a year since new maps.

Your right I was forgetting that Warzone Firefight borrowed some of the Warzone Assault maps. Those maps were designed for assault and only have 2 bases and 1 core, so it would be impossible to play regular Warzone on them.
Then I stand corrected, but that doesn’t sway me from asking for new war zone maps
I feel as though it’s too late in the game’s life for more Warzone maps. From what I hear they take a long time to make and I think it’s better for 343 to dedicate their resources to more important content, such as Halo 6.

If anything, Halo 6 poses great opportunities for additional Forerunner-themed maps. They’d look absolutely gorgeous.
I agree

That didn’t stop them from messing with the weapons in the tuning update. I know it doesn’t take as long as making new maps from scratch, but why couldn’t they add maps where those updates could be used to their full potential.
The game is 2 years old. Most other games only install new maps 6 months or 1 year after launch. Stop being greedy.

Yeah I guess I deserve that. Still, is it wrong to dream?
I think all playlists could do with some new maps I think the main reason people stop playing is probably the repetitive nature of the game . Why not have a community prize for the best arena maps and the top 3 go into a rotation playlist ? This would help get a really good communicative relationship going between developer and some pretty hardcore halo fans , I really enjoyed playing on the ghost in the shell inspired maps and what the halo 3 anniversary playlist and rock and rail has shown to me that the possibilitys with maps and the movement mechanics are endless so why not encourage some really talented people and you never know we might end up with some maps so good they could become permanent.
How long does it take to make a single warzone map from scratch? Maybe a couple weeks to a month. If there’s still 2 years till the next halo, or even more then it’d be nice if they kept halo 5 fresh and experiment. Halo player are a special breed of fps players. I think halo players are more forgiving on glitches and developer experiments, such as weapon tuning and map tweaking. Seriously one new warzone map would go a long way.

Probably longer since I’d imagine all of their people are working on H6 now.

I think its more of a cost and resource issue. I don’t think MS wants to spend time and money on a project for a two year old game that would yield no initial returns, and would rather keep 343 focused on making H6.
Its a shame though, more variety is a good thing and would keep the playerbase invested at least for a little longer.
Don’t know why they can’t just reuse assets from the campaign from the Genesis levels or use Sunaion (wrong spelling I think) t create warzone maps

Good point as the level design would go through multiple playability tests so reusing these assets should cut time / work load down to a minimum. But realistically it won’t happen now as the only team left working on halo 5 was the team that implemented the weapon sandbox update .
Would be nice to have a new map. Temple and Darkstar are the only 2 we’ve gotten since launch. Arena seems to get all the new stuff.

Battle of Noctus was also introduced after the game’s launch with the Cartographer’s Gift content update. They’ve doubled the amount of maps in the playlist since then, and getting another really doesn’t seem all that logical to me. Halo 5 is in a super late stage of it’s life-cycle and the playlist population is lower than ever. I’d rather them just focus on Halo 6.

Forgot about that…
