I’m trying to figure out why it is that no time is invested into warzone maps at all?
Yet, you have this NEW req pack that can only be used in warzone?
The last map that was made has been out for quite some time.
If you don’t want to create one, then why not let the community create one and vote on one??
I’m just trying to point out why it is that you can sell packs that are strictly for warzone, yet contribute nothing to help keep it alive or even grow.
You’ve already tweaked the algorithm so that we get less of certain power reqs, have not fixed the useless XP BOOST for 152 max ranked, and have nerfed how many Warzone RP Boost are in a gold or silver pack.
I have no problem with the business side of growing the business and funds for infinite, but that doesnt mean you should negate a Halo 5 community either who you take funds from.
Please read thoroughly as I would want a legitimate answer from the developers.
Yes I do understand as well how busy it must be to make a game, but if you can patch up servers to keep players, why not do one of the mentioned above?
Outside of playlist updates / rotations and matchmaking tweaks there won’t be any further updates made for Halo 5, it’s out of scope for the teams right now who are working on Infinite and MCC.
For the community to be able to create Warzone maps, warzone items would need to be forgeable I imagine and that’s not possible in Halo 5. Just as it’s not possible to foge on Warzone maps and they are too tightly coupled to the REQ system.
Tbh few new warzone maps might revive the warzone community for a month or two. Still surprised after quitting for over two years and coming back there were no new maps.

But a single Warzone map requires a lot of time, money, and resources that 343 just can’t allocate to a 4 year old game that’s about to become obsolete. Infinite is right around the corner, and MCC is where most of the population is at right now.

where are you getting your facts from? saying there’s no money? I’m more about facts versus opinions. They make money off the warzone community, so why not fix the warzone community?

Dude, a huge portion of the 343 dev team is working on Halo Infinite for its release next year. The remaining devs are working on bringing Halo Reach to MCC and bringing MCC to Windows 10. The only people who even look at Halo 5 still are the support team and the people involved with rotational playlists and ranked seasons.
What if I want 343 to make some new maps for Halo 4? Is it in any way reasonable for me to make that request right now in October 2019?
There comes a point in every game’s life where the post launch content stops. Halo 5 reached that point a long time ago. 343 has moved on.
While the Warzone community does make 343 money due to microtransactions, they don’t make nearly as much as they did in 2016. The population has considerably decreased. The game is 4 years old. It isn’t worth spending all that time, money, and effort to make a whole new Warzone map that very few people will enjoy, especially when the game’s successor is only a year away.
Although it would be cool, making new maps and coding would be a MASSIVE undertaking for 343. I don’t think letting the community make Warzone maps would make sense either. Sure, you could build the physical environment with forge, but setting up the gameplay would require coding skills that most of the community (just guessing) doesn’t have.

343 already stated they’re done making new developer maps and the Forge community can’t make Warzone maps because they don’t have access to the forge objects.
with low population is more hard to grind for 152, we need just more help by 343 like discount on boost packs, ever balanced respect who did it when the population was high.
New maps in firefight can not be added for sure but i understand the frustration to play it.
I m banned for xp boosting, 2 months and 4 days has gone away by my ‘achievement’, declared by 343 how a little reward,more than 1000 people, besides me, took it seriously.
I don’t know if it’s a miracle or someone gave me a gift but today, like every day since I was banned, I went up on my requisitions for the daily reward and found a platinum pack, then I looked at the store and saw a pack at 50000 RP, normally this pack costs 80000RP, so something they can do to help us.
I still have confidence and I would not like to continue to propose problems but solutions. maybe we don’t see it but many of the team do more than they can

He mean’s that H5G is outdated, simple as that.
343i’s focus is now solely on the MCC and H:I.
And no, 343i doesn’t do it to piss you off or to neglect the community,
it is a simple relocation of resources and this happens to every. single. game.
I think had H5 been more popular and warzone more well received and the req system better implemented we may have seen a couple more warzone maps. But since it wasn’t well received that juice wasn’t worth the squeeze. They did give BTB more attention with the BTB refresh and quite a few maps where put into and out of rotation and even btb fiesta playlist. Warzone had potential but they just designed it poorly really.
