What if there was a warzone mode where one team spawns as the covie and the other humans. The objective would be the same but the bosses from your team will aide you and you can fight along side them instead of destroying them. The teams can get bonus points by defeating various prometheans when they spawn
So, Warzone mixed with Halo Reach invasion??

They need to just scrap Warzone Assault in Halo 6 and bring back Invasion. But as far as new Warzone modes go I think king of the hill would be a crazy fun time.
I want to upgrade marines and armories/mini bases using req points.
Marines
Upgrade 1, 4 req points, Specialized Training: Marines offer buffs. 1 medic marine will improve friendly shield recharge time if the marine is alive. 1 marine will have two frag grenades spawn on him every minute, for friendly Spartans to use as replenishment. 1 radio operator marine will improve spartan radar range when in the armory, as long as the marine is alive.
Upgrade 2, 6 req points, Heavy Weapons:
Marines have better weapons. 1 marine will have a submachine gun. 1 marine will have a BR. 1 marine will have a DMR. Grenades marines throw now do half damage, but have proxy fuses. Marines will aggressively attack enemy Spartans within the armory.
Upgrade 3, 9 req points, ODST’s:
ODST pods will drop in for reinforcement to replace the Marines, damaging enemies directly underneath the landing point on top of the armory. They have better health, and have a helmet requiring at least 2 headshots for a kill. Their proxy frag grenades do more damage than marines, but less than a traditional grenade. 1 ODST will have a shotgun with shells fitted to do extra damage against spartan shields. 1 ODST will have a Sniper rifle. 1 ODST will have SPNKR. Marines don’t drop their heavy weapons upon death, but always drop two frag grenades. ODST’s will surround, suppress, and annihilate enemy threats.
I have ideas for base upgrades too, but I feel like I’ve already typed a lot.

The marines do need a buff all they do is sit there and do nothing so this would be awesome
Lol you can always tell if a player or mob is outside. The marine will be unloading his weapon at the wall.
About all they are good for. They do need more things to say…
Warzone KotH would be fun. Just not CTF - we already know how bad CTF can get in BTB, it’d be hell in Warzone.
I’d like more of H4’s Dominion in WZ to be honest. Upgrading marines, spawning base turrets, put in shield doors enemies have to destroy before getting in (I see you meleeing that door Mr. Camo-Blaze!) and so forth.
I would love to see a lore-based Warzone, like a map set on Pegasi Delta or something like that.
Or perhaps, Invasion Warzone. Invasion style gameplay (sorta like Assault is now but bigger) with multiple objectives etc.

I agree, except there would need to be a covenant weapon that matches the magnum. The carbine could be acceptable, except it has range and RoF enhancements. The plasma pistol would simply be too op to spawn with, as it can EMP vehicles. Otherwise, great idea.
Also maybe 3 team warzone where there is covenant, human, and promethean teams, where there are also more bases. A team would win by
a) reaching 1000 points
or
b) capturing any enemy base
there would be balancing issues, etc. But is just an idea.
I recall an idea I had long ago in days of yore where players that fit an as of yet undecided criteria would be able to take control of the AI bosses in WZ. It was just an idea, though, and I don’t exactly remember how it worked in terms of points and such. I could go back through my post history and look but I’m just too lazy lul
These are the modes I think they should build.
- Warzone domination: basically regular WZ
- Warzone Invasion: capture the enemy teams advanced positions to get to there base and extract there core.
- Warzone slayer: just kill people with reqs.
- Warzone capture the flag: not sure how it would work but it would be so much fun.
