I’ll make this quick and to the point. If someone has already posted this idea, my apologies.
Warzone is probably my favorite gametype in Halo 5, but Warden always being the final boss at the end of the game is getting stale. I was watching a video of one of 343’s podcasts earlier and in the comments section someone mentioned that the map would be perfect for adding a scarab as the end game boss. I’m not sure how that would affect the game performance wise, but in terms of an interesting boss fight, not only is it epic . . . it brings back New Mombasa memories.
Second, splattering is ridiculous. I haven’t seen any mention of fixing it and I can’t be the only one complaining. I once got splattered by jumping down from the fortresses hanging platform onto a scorpions main cannon. I landed on top of it and was literally splattered. That’s ridiculous, it’s way to easy to splatter in this game (almost as bad as Halo CE).

Oh god CE was bad. Didn’t even bother to fix it on MCC. My cousin forgot to put the parking brake on the Warthog on The Cartographer and it rolled back an inch and I was dead
I agree with both your points (sort of) fighting a new final boss would be cool indeed for warzone. However, I have witnessed a ghost with speed boost active hit someone and just take their shields. The splattering is just kind of broken to begin with.
They REALLY need to fix splattering. Ghosts don’t even need to boost to kill you. Same with banshees. Also, a new boss would be awesome too, and not just that, but add more boss spawns so the losing team could at least stand a chance.

That, or maybe make the boss spawns more spontaneous and random. As of right now it’s always the same spawn time and spawn location. Different bosses at different times could make games a lot more interesting.

Have you ever been going full speed in a warthog/ghost/banshee and hit a player head on in front of you only to find out it didn’t splatter them it just took the shields down.

No, because usually I splatter them by accidentally backing into them with a Mongoose.
I’ve realised that if I’m boosting in a ghost I’ll rarely get a splatter, but if I’m going really slow in a hog or tank the slightest touch kills everyone

Basically you want some sort of RNG for bosses, possibly even add in a string of code that has the chance to spawn them or not as well as something requiring a certain amount of boss spawns each game so there can’t be a chance of no spawns at all.
There’s always bound to be small but ridiculous issues with games, whether it’s splattering, stealing boss kills or a pistol doing the same amount of damage as a high powered rifle, halo has always had issues that can’t be fixed to a satisfying level for the halo community, and considering how little has been done to fix the game so far, I doubt it’ll happen anytime soon

That sounds like a good idea.
There does need to be boss spawns, but on the flip side there can’t be too many. Personally, three major bosses spawning sounds pretty good. But if the major/ legendary boss spawns were to decrease in favor of more minor boss fights, that would also work. I think the important thing is that there needs to be a certain amount of points that can be earned by boss spawns.
