See a lot of the stuff from the new update looks pretty impressive, (except the noble armour variants) but one thing that’s really getting to me is the new warzone assault map… Now a lot of you might be a bit confused when I say that so let me make it clear to understand. I’ve been playing Halo 5 now for over 2 months since getting my xbox one, and not once, NOT ONCE! have I been able to play a game of warzone assault. I’ve searched many times but I can never get a game. I’ve searched for over 10 minutes sometimes, imagine what I could have done instead, that’s like the time it takes to have 2 full games of team slayer. I know I’m not the only one with this problem but seriously, this new update is gonna take up more room on my hard drive, and I’ll admit the weapons look great so I can’t wait to use them, but the Warzone assault map is just going to be a waste of space. As well as the armour in my opinion but that’s another topic. So what is gonna be done about this? Probably F all

Apparently it’s a big problem for people outside of the US mainly, like I’m from the UK and a few guys I’ve played with have said the same. Which begs the question, are 343i even aware about this and do they plan on fixing their servers for non us players? The world is a lot bigger than just America :s

It has nothing to do with the servers, just with the lack of players in the EU. I’m from Germany and can’t find a game either. The only way to play WZA for me is to start an extended search, but this leads to lags and reduces fun extremely. I just hope some EU players return with the new Update.
I thought the same… I thought everything about this update was a waste except the weapons, skins, the arena map and ofcourse the hunter arm. Instead they could’ve have returned CQB, EOD and Hayabusa armor… they could’ve made a new Warzone map instead of only make it playable in WZA… I don’t think 343I understand Halo…

I started playing halo 5 during the free to play week, even though I bought it, and there were a lot of people playing all around the world but still I was unable to find a game of warzone assault even back then. I’m not sure it’s the lack of European players, could be, but I don’t know what the player count is since there’s no population count. But even if it is with the lack of European players, why can’t I play with people from anywhere else? Why can’t they put me with some US players who have no problem finding games in Warzone assault?

I have to agree, in past Halo games I only complained about a bit of lag here and there, but in halo 5 there is SOOO much that I find myself complaining about that I think it’s pretty stupid they decided to release this game at all. They should have at least worked on it for another 6 months or a year even before releasing it. It kills me to say but literally wtf were they thinking? There’s a separate thread in the forums about The Act Man’s latest vids stating where they went wrong and how they could have made more money and I watched both vids before they were shared here on waypoint and I agree with literally EVERYTHING he said in both parts. Now come on 343i, if you’re actually reading these then watch the act man’s vids and actually learn something from them! It’s funny how a YouTuber understands the whole business side of developing and releasing a game a whole lot more than the actual company who are developing the games. There’s no justified explanation to why this game is in the state that it is, and the community has been torn apart because of it.

you can play with US players, but you have to switch your search prefrences to extended. This works for me (Finding matches in less than 30 sec).

UK is plagued with connectivity issues too? Australia and New Zealand can get 25 minute wait times for normal Warzone… And I doubt Warzone is just lacking players.

It’s a shame how so many guys think they can do everything better. It’s the same with sports. Men sitting at home and complaining about their favorite team, altough they have no idea of the real business.
And even if you have many things to complain about, Halo 5 is MY favorite game in the hole series, by far. But i put of my nostalgic glasses and when you do that you’ll see that this game offers more than other halos, even though there may be some things we all want back. For me this are mostly Oddball and a social Team Objective playlist.

Cause I live in Manchester/North Wales and I cant say ive had an issue finding a WZA game with the exception of the week of firefight release, after that week ive had little issue finding games.

Wat? Im trying to give pretty reasonable criticism to help them improve. If halo 5 is your favourite game then fair enough it’s up to you. But as a fan I am entitled to give feedback, this thread is to highlight the fact that I haven’t been able to play a gamemode since I’ve started playing. I love Halo but Halo 5 for me and for many others was a big disappointment. And if you watch them act man vids you will see why we are all saying the same things all the time but yet it feels like we’re being ignored.

I’m from south Wales, I get good connection for all the other game modes, even MCC works ok for me except for the odd glitch now and then which irritates me. But no luck with WZA, I’ll try expanding my search results to see if that helps
