Here’s the best thing 343 could do. In rank let it be the br and pistol only and reduce damage 75%. Remove all other weapons from ranked matches and let the pro babies whine. Quit freaking tweaking things that don’t need tweaked. My word the pulse rifle is doodoo unless you have a different weapon to switch to, the disrupter is just fine. Unless you connect all shots it’s utterly worthless. I swear pros (basement dwellers) are a detriment to gaming, and just having FUN.
They nerf stuff, then they buff stuff, they break stuff, they say they fix stuff, it’s the only thing they know how to do, so it gives the appearance of looking busy, they are toiling away in the background, balancing the gun play, QOL improvements, what a load of rubbish.
It’s one of the oldest plays in the playbook, break it, and then return it to where it was, and watch all the fanboys clap their hand and say, Oh, thank you Devs, you are listening to us. Meanwhile, there is no fix for … this is the worst AAA game I have ever played.
I wouldn’t say the worst because the base is there. Just can’t capitalize on it
In my past experience with a bunch of FPS games, including every Halo MP, I usually don’t expect good weapon balance for a game until the 4th major patch.
The first two balance passes usually afte overdone, and the next two usually fine tune stuff into a good place
If a car had this many problems, it would be recalled. The end consumer was used as a testing ground for a work in progress, an obviously untested game engine.
Dawg, Subarus literally blow head gaskets and spin rod bearings as frequently as oil changes. Aside from the lawsuit, they haven’t been recalled. Fords are well known for having various mechanical issues (death wobble, for instance), yet don’t see many recalls. Generally, unless it’s life threatening or extremely bad it won’t get recalled (again, Subaru engines are prone to head gasket failure/spun rod bearing yet Subaru did nothing until they were involved in a lawsuit).
Although I am being partially hyperbolic, you were as well so I think I’m good.
