So I get to home and go to update Halo 5 only 250 mb no big, but then it turns into I havw to reinstall the whole game. What the crap, I was litterally playing last night. That is 90 gb and I have data caps not exactly ideal. Ive done a hard reset didnt help, HDD says the game is on it so what the heck.
I have the exact same problem, I play halo 5 almost every night, but I’m at 6.28 GB of 91.37GB- 7%
It’s installing the entire game?..this was only supposed to be 200MB what the heck is going on?
Do either of you have an external drive connected to your Xbox or have Halo 5 installed to and external drive? I have seen some oddities involving game updates and external drive, sometimes the X1 tries to update the wrong location which results in the entire game being downloaded.
If you don’t have H5 installed on your internal drive, copy it from your external to the internal and then try running the update again.
