The title says it all. It’s been a couple of months since there was an update for the mcc and there hasn’t been any news on when another update is coming. Are there going to be any more updates?
How do we tell him? ![]()
I’ll handle it.
@laserpheonix There has been no communications from 343 regarding MCC since the “November” update.
This post was flagged by the community and is temporarily hidden.
Greedy? What you mean?
When you hold the ball for objective points? Ball holder, balll master, etc. I figured we should share it
…ok then? I see the skull change hands a lot depending on how we have to deal with the enemy team. Never even considered this as a thing
Also, didn’t the whole company just restructure?
Not many are playing MCC so I would suspect the updates are going to be few and far between.
Im really curious if this means Halo Infinites updates will slow down since MCC on Steam is still outperforming Infinite.
We cant see Xbox stats of course.
Well MCC is never in the Xbox most played games any more and Infinite is always still there. A safe bet is the majority of Halo players are on console. Infinite definitely has a stronger population than MCC.
I wasnt arguing otherwise, but the only metric I have shows MCC is still holding popularity.
343 could at least set some levels of expectation.
Come out and say they are done developing MCC so we can move on and stop waiting.
Most recent updates prior to November were ‘never say never but not working on currently’
Well 343 has a lot on their plate right now so it’s understandable that MCC isn’t very high on the list of priorities. Those of us still playing MCC should accept that any updates are going to be few and far between. I am surprised they are even still updating with anything.
I’d bet money it doesn’t.
They should at least fix the constant crashing of MCC, finish all the cut content like they promised us for MCC, and maybe increase the private file limit so Forgers can actually help keep the custom game community alive.
Based on MCCs update rythm over the last year, there should be a blog for future updates within the next 4 weeks. Probably comes once Infinite season 3 is out
Based on what??? As I said Infinite is constantly on Xbox live most played games… I haven’t seen MCC even make it on there in months now no matter what time. Even trying to find games in MCC you have to search at peak time for certain games. In Infinite I never had a problem finding a game at any time. There is no way MCC has more players than Infinite, not by a long shot.
I see players claim constant crashing but I can’t even remember the last time MCC crashed for me. Ever since turning off the H3 custom skins I have yet to have a crash.
Also I am sure they are probably still working on the game but probably not many people are working on it. Easily the majority of the studio is working on Infinite.
We haven’t heard any news since the November update. We know that they’re working on Theater support for Halo 4 Campaign and Spartan Ops (which was announced prior to the November update) but that’s it.
Hopefully when we finally do get news it completely blows us away. I’m talking mod support for consoles a la Fallout 4. It seems to me that Steam Workshop support was the first step in that direction. Keep your fingers crossed.
This is a beautiful description of MCC.
