Ever since this new rank reset/ update i get good ping games but it is ruined by constant packet loss, never had a issue before 50Mbps down 20up and 30 to 50ms ping and im directly wired. Never had any issues before hand. any idea how to fix? Game is unplayable and just lags me around the place

afterr rank reset i had game with 110/150/180 ping constantly and it’s actually unplayeble.
2 games on 10 are playeble the other are actually crazy, and we are playing an fps game.
ever find a solution to this? i’m still having this issue 4 months later
Same here. Packet loss and after a few minutes i got disconnected from the match

I get packet lids every now and again. No matter what my connection speed is. It’s just random, I guess.
Are you Xbox or PC? Use an online speed test that also tests for packet loss, make sure it’s not your service provider, sometimes the route that your service provider sends you to get to your destination has wobbly peers. Now the obvious, make sure your nat is open, check that your cables are good, etc. Internet speed won’t matter, but it’s most likely on one of the hops.
You should also test your connection for BufferBloat, there are online tests a good one is … https://www.waveform.com/tools/bufferbloat. If it is high, not good for gaming.
mines A+. absolutely no issues with my ISP. CONSTANT packet loss in Infinite for the last 4 months. literally zero issues in every single other game I play. I played from the day this game launched, til about February with ZERO issues. it all the sudden started happening one day and hasn’t stopped since. I didn’t make any changes to anything.
we need a fix. i’ve tried everything. every guide, every suggestion. what is going on?

The other thing you can try if you already haven’t is Port Forwarding, which allows the opening up of all necessary ports for Xbox live gaming. It is something to try, It’s easy to do. Sometimes it works.
Same here. The only fix I see is uninstalling this game until it’s fixed, which in 343s case may be another 2 years from now. Infinite has so many problems it’s unreal. On the bright side though we still have MCC which is a far superior game to infinite in every way

appreciate the suggestion, but I’ve already tried that and it did nothing. I mean it when I say I have tried everything. nothing seems to fix it.
Try 1265, seriously and its gotten higher at tikes. 400+ i think ive gone as high as 2200. Absolute joke.
Actually came on to see if I was the only one. I play on my Xbox Series X, live in the UK and I get 20ms ping and it’s easily jumps to 100+ms every 10 seconds or so. My internet is perfectly fine with every other game. I have packet loss before but that was maybe once or twice a match, but now it’s getting ridiculous.
