New Update Stuck

Halo Wars 2 update stuck at 26 MB for half an hour, no change. Tried restarting computer, using wsreset, nothing works. Advice please?

The download is only 26.06 MB in size so its not downloading anything.

EDI:T turns out my download bar is very badly broken and is displaying the amount that its downloaded as the overall size of the download. The windows store is a mess.

Are you on PC? Mine is currently downloading a download of 1.34GB.

I’m PC, now at 45 MB. My downstream rate is extremely fast, so this shouldn’t be a problem.

yep, this is a PC problem, game wont update. If you pause and resume the download repeatedly it will make slow progress 2mb at a time for like every minute it takes for the download to pause. Obviously, though, this works as neither a solution nor workaround. We need a fix, like, now.

If it follows the update schedule they announced after the day 1 patch, it should be “fixes” for the pc version…more like outright breaking it

Though I know it’s minor compared to server/game stability, I was hoping they fixed the skulls in Skirmish matches by making them only affect human players, and not AI.

I haven’t even gotten to that yet. Went through a good chunk of the campaign last night at launch, experiencing some terrible performance issues along the way (and I have a fairly good PC setup). The longer the game ran the lower my framerate got, even running on the lowest possible settings. Always starting at a smooth 60+fps so I know it’s not that my PC can’t handle it.
I try to log on today to finish it, and I’m met with a mandatory update that won’t install…so the game is just totally broken on PC now

It has a few fixes but pre-dates launch so it’s not specifically addressing some of the more frequent issues being reported since release. A much more substantial patch for Xbox One & PC is about to go into cert and once it does I’ll get those patch notes posted on Waypoint. @ske7ch343

There are some memory leak issues with the game, it seems. The longer it runs, the worse it performs. I do hope they get these performance issues fixed ASAP.

hell, hopefully THIS patch will fix the memory leak…There’s no way of knowing though since it won’t even download

I’m currently still having issues. However pausing and starting seems to work. However if this is a 1gb patch, I ain’t looking forward to pausing and starting over 500 times.

Might just play it on Xbox, have a cup of tea and wait till it all blows over.

Had so much trouble installing the game… and now the broken patch PREVENTS me from playing the game?

Microsoft should work on their store lawl…
