New Update for Halo 4

If I’am here it’s for suggest a new update for Halo 4.
Community can agree or disagree but I would to expose my point of view.

Banshee is very, very low during the dodging and I think it will be better if this dodging will be fast. Futhermore, I suggest banshee will be more armored.

Ghost is a very good vehicle but his armored is very strong, i suggest a lowering armored’s ghost.

  • Possibility with laser-spartan can One-shoot (destroyed mantis shiel with this weapon lol)

  • Scorpion more fast ( car-jacking is very easy)

  • Scorpion’s primary weapon more efficient in long range and more precise

  • Warthog turret more precise (no-gauss)

  • Auto-turrets in dominion more efficient with

  • Wraith’s primary weapon more efficient and more fast between the shoots

  • Gravity hammer and sword more present than the past.

  • nerf DMR

  • Forge world back (more taller :wink: )

  • Chess and Halo-ball

  • Community Playlist

  • New colors and new options in forge

  • Choose weapon for the Zombi

  • No thruster-pack for zombi (augment speed)

  • Needler powerless

  • jet-pack more efficient

  • Augment thruster pack reloading

  • Invisibility more efficient but long reloading

I think it must have all the old gamemodes types like VIP, Mastodon, or races.

It’s the same thing for the infection of Halo 4 : We cannot personalize this mode. The zombie has always a weapon like a sword, and we cannot change it. Why ? It is a very bad idea. Moreover, the humans cannot takes weapon in the map ! So we are forced to create classes where weapons are predefined at the beginning.
In Halo 3, we can personalize infection, and we could create a lot of many variants zombies : Mongoose shooting, duck shooting, predator… And all the rest.

But in fact, we cannot personalize all the custom gametypes ! We can’t delete the sprint, the automatic-respawn… And all the littlest things like odball or flag we cannot change !

the personalization in custom games is really missing…

Only thing I don’t agree with. The Banshee manuver was quick in Reach and everyone hated it. It’s fine as it is now since it has Halo 3’s manuver speed.

Yes, but is very very esay to shootdown with a spartan laser, during the manuver.

Are you seriously suggesting they nerf the Ghost? That thing is made of tissue paper; if anything, they should give it a significant buff, increase its damage resistance. The DMR tears it apart, as does the Sniper Rifle.

These are the only things that I agree need changed, everything else is very well balanced as is.

Sorry but DMR is a super-weapon, DMR>BR=Covenant carbine= Lightrifle

And if there is a possibility to nerf DMR, I think it will be a good thing.

And lot of players use DMR than others long range weapons.

we need a pre order skin DLC!!!

Sorry, I dont agree with the OP on many of his posts.

–The ghosts armor is just fine. Aim for the driver or the gas tank (Yes it has one)

–Using the Spartan laser means aiming for the pilot of the vehicle inside. It DOES take the shield off the Mantis if you use it correctly.

–If the scorpion were as fast as it was in Halo 1, it would be a little overpowered. There is a reason its slow but strong. Just have your team watch out for people who jack it.

–The primary fire of the scorpion was TOO accurate in the previous Halo. I believe it to be perfect as tank shells would normaly arc on a natural tank anyway. Shooting straight is too easy.

–Nothing wrong with Turrets on warthogs. Just lead your target, also a normal thing with bullets.

–Those turrets arent there to kill, but to help provide cover fire (just like the autosentry) Its there to help you kill.

–If the wraith shot faster, it too would be overpowered.

–Nerf DMR? (cant tell if serious) Stupidest thing on here…next.

–We dont need to have Forge World back…Sure it would be cool, but not necessary

–Sure it would be ok to see more of the sword or grav hammer (ordinance helps this)

–Chess? Halo-Ball? Whats that? We’ve never had it. The chess was just for a video and thats it.

–Community playlist will show up over time. Relax

–New colors in forge? Like what? New options? Like what?

–No…no choosing weapon for the Zombie…bad idea

–Thruster pack is fine for the zombie, gives them agility.

–Are you saying the needler is powerless??? This thing is powerful as -Yoink-, you just arent good with it.

–Jet pack is fine.

–thruster pack reloading? I dont know what this means, but there is a perk to make it faster

–Same goes for camo, works just fine.

Sorry, but I’ve been playing Halo since its first game. The reason I disagree with a ton of your stuff. If you want an easier game, go play Call of Duty, Halo was never meant to be easy.

^^^ Those are the only things I agree on. Everything else is a terrible idea to be honest.

I agree with this, the Banshee definitely needs more survivability. I certainly don’t think it needs to roll too much faster, because Reach was ridiculous. But it is extremely, unnaturally slow, and needs to go a bit faster. More Halo 3-like.

Also, it is way too fragile, so like you said, more armour.

I disagree here actually. I think it should take 2 players to down a Ghost easily, and it feels perfect the way it is IMO. That and if anything, you’re just gonna get EMP’d by a Plasma Pistol anyway.

I find the Laser perfect the way it is, so I disagree. I like that it takes a little more than a single Laser shot to kill a Mantis.

I haven’t played much with the Scorpion, at least not enough to really have good comparison of speed. But even if it is faster it will still be Plasma Pistol bait.

This I disagree with. Making the Scorpion’s shot arc, and fly more slowly makes it feel balanced for probably the first time ever. It used to dominate like no tomorrow in Halo 2, and Halo Reach. And it would have in Halo 3 if it wasn’t for the colossal lag. I think the Scorpion is pretty much perfect when it comes to the Cannon.

The Warthog’s Turret is the most accurate it has ever been. It seems fine to me.

No real comment here. They seem to do what they need to do. If they killed players easily on their own they would be overpowered.

This I can agree with somewhat. I like that the Arc is extreme and difficult to aim. But the Rate of Fire is just a bit too low.

I disagree with this here. I find the Sword and Hammer fairly common in 4v4 gametypes, along with the Scattershot and Shotgun. But I feel them being almost non-existent in BTB is a smart move. The only time they’d be used is for base-camping in BTB in previous Halos, and that was something that led to nothing more than problems. Also, the last thing I would want taking up an Ordinance slot is a CQC weapon in BTB.

YES. It doesn’t need a huge nerf, but it’s kill time needs to be SLOWER than a BR’s, not FASTER. Just make it’s fire rate lower, somewhere in between the BR, and the LR would be perfect.

I feel all they really need to do here is remove the stupid kill bariers from the Forge maps, and let us use all the Geometry we can see, up until the invisible walls surrounding Ravine, and Impact, and the walls of the Cave in Errosion. Then leave hard kill barriers at ACCEPTABLE depths below water, and below the asteroid of Impact.

Give it a couple of months first. For now we still need a few other playlists to come into light, like Extraction, and Slayer/BTB Classic (Similar to Slayer Pro, but with radar, and spawn choice of BR, DMR, Carbine, LR, AR).

Agreed fully. Also, Ravine’s palette needs to be replaced by FORERUNNER themed objects. And a Covenant themed Forge map would be spectacular. (Perhaps patch in Forerunner/Covie palettes you can use on all 3 maps? That would be the best)

This makes sense. The Zombie should have a Secondary Weapon option, which would appear in the left hand, and fire with the left trigger.

I disagree here. They need to nerf the Flood Thruster, yes. But they don’t need to remove it.

I kinda disagree, I think once they nerf the DMR the Needler will be fine. But I think you should get more ammo with it.

NOOOOoooooo. Absolutely not. As it stands the Jetpack is already one of the top 3 Armour Abilities in the game. If anything, it could use a bit more of a nerf. The LAST thing we need is to re-create the Reach Jetpack.

I actually think it should be made so that it won’t recharge until the player touches ground with it. No more of this fluttering/hovering that is ruining map control.

Maybe, either this or a subtle buff to the distance it thrusts.

I find it efficient enough as it is. I think they would be better off just completely redoing it so that either:

A - It works like the Arbiter’s Camo in Halo 2, (5-10 seconds of invis, 10 second recharge)

or B - It is no longer an AA, and is a Power Up you can call in from Ordinance that lasts 30 seconds like Halo CE-3.

All I want is Precise Mode back for Forge.

I’ve an other idea, augment the distance with thruster pack. It is useful in Flood.
In other gametypes…

New idea

  • Team sniper with human sniper, and covenant sniper.
    But Promethean sniper in the maps.

343, calling the Needler a power weapon will not cover up it’s horrific balancing.

The rocket launcher and sniper are considered balanced power weapons because of their complexity. There are things in existence like rocket sniping, sniping airborne grenades, using rockets to move weapons around, hell even sniping Banshee pilots out.

The Needler… not so much. It only exists for killing a single individual at a time (yes I know it has a big clip but where’s the fun in a supercombine only effecting a Grunt or Elite. It ought to have a better area of effect in the campaign and Spartan Ops).

The Binary Rifle and Incineration Cannon are much better in their applications. Likewise the SAW which just feels awesome.
