New UNSC unit ideas

Okay, so I had a few UNSC units on my mind for awhile that I felt like could have been in the game. And one or two of them are made up by me, but the rest are cemented in lore. All of them are era-accurate to the SoFs last restock in 2530-ish

First off. The fictional ones created by me:

  • Lemming: A UNSC Dirtbike operated by a single driver/gunner. The Lemming is a T1 Anti-Infantry scout produced from the main base. The driver has a SMG as a starting weapon and can be upgraded to a BR-55 later for more Infantry damage and a longer range of sight (It already has Sniper level FoV) It’s Y ability allows it to run circles in AOE style dealing damage and receiving little to no damage unless if hard microed.

    Voice: Sounds like every parody energy drink commercial spokesperson including: Rad kill man!" “ENGAGING DUSTWALL” “Uncool duuuude!”

  • Upgrades:
    Turbocharged: Lemming speed increased by 50%/Dustwall lasts longer. Costs 250p

Designated marksmen: Drivers use Battle-Rifles, increased damage against Infantry, longer range sights. Costs 200p

  1. Fox Cannon: A one-off prototype UNSC Siege artillery platform, the Fox Cannon somehow found its way onto the SoF before the Arcadia attack. Armed with 175mm smoothbore-partly magneticly accelerated cannon. This piece of Artillery can target anywhere on the battlefield given sufficient killboxes (can shoot anywhere where there is no FoW, it can hypothetically fire from base to base on vault without trouble) This one off unit and it’s legendary status amongst mechanized divisions has made it a “Hero unit”

Frictionless barrel: Increased fire-rate and damage by 30% each. Costs 300p

Killbox targeting system: Increases field of view, can engage any part of the map whole FoW is gone, increased targeting speed, and increased health. 550p

Neutron slugs: Damage increased by 125%. Aoe is now 60% larger, and enemies in aoe are stunned for 1.5-2 seconds. 700p

  1. Argus drone: A small UNSC recon drone that saw extensive use in the outer colonies, these drones continued to see use in the Harvest campaign as battle survey platforms. With how small and cheap they are to produce, the SoF had thousands on board for every kind of intelligence operation needed. While some counter-insurgency models were equipped with missiles, the missiles were proven ineffective against covenant shielding, thus removing all offensive capabilities from the drone. The Y ability on the Argus allows it to stay stationary in one place, but in return it has a rediculous high FoV, cannot be attacked by units unless if targeted by players themselves, and can detect cloaked units and what is being produced in buildings.
