New UNSC logo on Adrift

Adrift is set on a CAA mining vessel that was converted by the UNSC for the war effort during the Human-Covenant War, however damage it sustained during the Battle of Kholo in 2539 sent it on a slow decline towards to gas giant it currently floats above in low orbit which eventually it will crash into and be destroyed.

Now during the IGN video walkthrough of Adrift I noticed that on the sides of the vessel and on computer screens you see the new Post-War UNSC logo. This doesn’t make sense as the station as been abandoned for decades it should have the old UNSC logo on it.

Why is this?

I also notice a similar error on the cover art for Halo 4. On the side of the Forward Unto Dawn you see the Post-War UNSC logo which makes no sense as the FuD was obviously constructed during the war and was drifting through space since it ended. Hopefully this is just a small art error and its not like this in the actual game.

I think it’s just the new art style 343i chose. I don’t think it has anything to do with pre or post war.

Are you sure it isn’t just an upgraded model due to a difference in art style?

its the same logo just a different way of portraying it.

Wow, you people complain about anything, don’t you?

Yes, as the old logo is also in the game.
