I don’t think 343 should bring back the Hornet or the Falcon, I’d like to see something brand new instead. I’m just gonna pitch an idea and see what you guys think.
UNSC Roc
Immense flying vehicle that behaves similarly to the Phaeton. Key differences are: Increased armor (can withstand a direct Splaser hit), much slower speed with no teleport ability, missile pod turret that can lock on to vehicles and turrets, Splaser turret (remember the Pelican in Halo 4?), weak spots on the cockpit and engines. Slow turn speed. Also includes a spot for a teammate to jump on and control a chaingun to mow down infantry below. Teammate is exposed to gunfire and easy sniper headshots.
The end result (hopefully) is a slow but powerful vehicle that excels at destroying other vehicles and less so at killing infantry unless you pair up with a teammate.
Requires Phaeton level REQ requirements to deploy and is a Legendary REQ.
