343, why would you change it? I honestly think the old one looks better, 343 just needs to stop trying so hard. They’re working so hard to meet Halo expectations that they’re messing with some aspects with Halo that just need to be left alone.

The new emblem is horrendous, if your gonna change it, at least make look like a legitimate military insignia.
The old insignia is simply iconic, but I’d say the new one looks more fantastic.

Nope.
Quit nit-picking. There’s nothing wrong with the updated UNSC logo and there’s nothing wrong with 343 molding the franchise into their own without it losing it’s identity.
They’ve changed almost everything artistically without it losing their familiarity.
The Master Chief still looks like the Master Chief.
Spartans still look like Spartans.
Elites still look like Elites.
Grunts still look like Grunts.
UNSC and Covenant re-turning and new weaponry still look like their respective source models and faction designs.
The UNSC logo still looks like the UNSC logo.

What’s wrong with making the emblem something of their own? Just because it is not Bungie making Halo doesn’t mean that they have to keep everything the same.
The emblem now is much better than the old one. It is updated and fits in with the new look that Halo 4 has been given. As for it not looking military enough - go look at some unit patches that the military has. That should help to change your mind.

cause in halo time, the war is over on earth, and we survived so it need to look peaceful
I really like the new emblem, Its detailed nicely and its just overall really cool. Besides, based on canon, within 5 years and after a war, the UNSC may have redesigned their emblem.
