I keep getting the new unlocks popup which tells me to go to the career and stats screen.
I have removed all the exclamation marks by viewing everything I unlocked. So I’m at a loss as to what I’ve “unlocked” that I’m unable to find.
Why is the popup still appearing?
I’ve viewed every single unlock, all the !'s are gone. It shouldn’t still be giving this message and it’s triggering my OCD.
Make sure you double check the nameplates section. I have overlooked one before when I kept on getting the message.
thank you, i checked there, still no luck. I even went through the list slowly.
I also deliberately won a few more multiplayer games by myself to unlock another new nameplate in the hopes that ‘viewing’ it would force the game into recognising everything has been viewed. Also, no luck. I checked all armour, colours, for every game, avatars, emblems, emblem backgrounds, nameplates, challenge hub, settings, everything. I checked everything for over an hour, I tried verifying the game files, restarting, I even took a peek inside an .xml file (but didn’t tweak anything)
I verified the game files, to no luck, so I removed the .xml files and verified the game again with Steam, which forced the files to re-download, and now I miiight have found the culprit. The ! is hovering over armor colors (for Reach) and all the 30 colors are currently unlocked and have been selected at least once, so there’s no visible !'s on the actual list. Just on the banner for armor color.
The ! icon now seems to come and go intermittently, but the ! icon under Reach Armor Colours is still there.
27/08/2020 – The icon and message are now back in full force again.

Why does mine always say that I have like 250 new unlocks every time I load up the MCC?
