Andrew from Team Respawn used his potato phone to get some footage of Jerome. The person playing sucks, but at 4:28 you can see all his leader powers, and one is called the Mastadon. Looks to be a new unit, could be the replacement for the OG Elephant from Halo Wars. Jerome Gameplay
It is really hard to read the leader powers, but one of the late game powers appears to give all units veterancy 1. Sounds pretty powerful. In the same place as inferno for Kinsano.
The top ability was called ‘Omega Team’. The (blurry) text looks like it says “call in Jerome’s omega team. Three Spartans…”. Could be a Squad based Hero, like really powerful ODSTs.

Omega team was in Halo Wars on the mission after saving the civilians in Arcadia. A pelican dropped off what I remember to be 6 spartans. If this is true of Jerome, that sounds OP as heck. Hopefully they can hijack vehicles?

Fair point indeed. Can anyone read those other leader powers any better than I can?
The third to last power on the wheel is Spartan morale, which can be upgraded three times. I think it says something like “inspired units receive temporary boost to speed, armor, and damage” and possibly something else
There’s also ‘Victory Mine’, ‘Recon Training’, ‘Victory Turret’ (?!?!?) and ‘Time for heroes.’ I can’t really read their descriptions, but it’s nice to know that Jerome will have a very unique leader wheel.
I think the 3rd one was something about increasing damage and speed when under a certain population (32 I think but possibly could be changed since there were 3 tiers)

i would imagine it’d be like cutters pelican attack, in that if it is Omega team. they’d leave after a while

Is there some rule I’m unaware of that says if you go to a gaming convention you must record things using only toasters, stop signs, or license plate holders?

Most of his abilities seem to be focused on boosting his units rather then in direct attacks like; MACs or Archer missiles.

Yep, I remember everyone saying “Mantis spam will be the next meta” just by watching firefight gameplay lol.
Really shows that listening to forum complaints isnt always the best way to balance a game.
