Does anyone know when 343i will be releasing any game play or a new trailer ? The game is being released in less than a year and still no game play ? I’m getting worried.
Nothing yet 343 isn’t going to screw over the community, soon you just have to be patient. They don’t want to rush the trailer and fear the community will disown and flame the forums, with pick-forks and torchs. They’ll release something when they feel they have something that will make everyone happy. Yes it blows waiting but when it is released that will be one great day.
You just said it. Its a year away. You don’t need to know everything a year before release. Trust me, there is nothing to worry about. Halo 4 has been worked on for a few years now. I personally want 343i to surprise us with an amazing, beautiful trailer. I don’t want them to have to quickly throw together something to show us that uses a lot of placeholders and other misleading things. The reason we haven’t seen anything now, is because 343i is waiting for an even bigger and epic opportunity to wow us with a perfect and epicly awesome trailer.
Why don’t you pass the time trying to find the hints 343i said they would be dropping about Halo 4? Read the books, analyze the terminals, search the website, find codes for the Waypoint Input Device to find secret terminals. Go climb a mountain and claim it in the name of 343 Industries for all I care. Just don’t fall off the mountain… then I will feel guilty. Even more guilty as 343 Guilty Spark.

Even as I say that, I must also admit that I can never go dark. Everyone should have patience,but not have us wait too long…I am curious too see where 343 picks up where Bungie left off.
that is true i mean come on cut 343 some slak think about it they want to continue a very compelling story and they did do a good job with anniversary so im not scared they will screw it up and remember that some bungie employees stayed at 343 because they love the game so in a way bungie are still there…in a way…in a very very small way…but they are there.

While I agree we can’t just assume that because it is Halo it will be good chough Reach cough, I do think that 343i is really a group of talented people that love Halo and are being paid for it. They know what’s at stake so I really think that they know what they are doing.

That is completely true but I think a beta is all we need not an over the top info every week thing
I expect a ViDoc/trailer which explains Graphics, vehicles and a bit about the campaign VERY VERY SHORTLY. It’s about 10 months to unconfirmed release date. There is going to be a trailer either late January or VERY early February. I can’t imagine them waiting until 6 months to launch or E3.
I’m getting tierd at this moment of all the complaining about when something new for H4 will be released. Just wait a bit longer, this is 343’s actual first game by themselves without outside help.
They’ll show something when they’re ready.
