New trailer disproves Promethean color theory

I was watching the trailer and around the time of watching Chief throw the grenade at the walking Promethean troops I realized that it was during night (or at least it was dark out) and the Prometheans were still glowing orange. People have been speculating that the Prometheans were orange during the day and blue at night, but clearly this trailer shows that is not the case, as it was dark out when Chief attacked them and they were still orange. Their color change most likely has to do with the you know who (starts with D)or whatever the reason behind them fighting alongside the Covenant.

My face when thread title.

Well the trailer doesn’t disprove they don’t change color, it just proves that everyone’s blue = night and orange = day hypothesis is shot

I don’t exactly see what you’re trying to say. Are you saying my title is worded poorly or something? When reading it at first glance I see what you’re saying, it makes it sound like the new trailer disproves that they change color at all. That’s not what I mean, you can only have so many words in your title, full title would’ve read “New trailer disproved Promethean color change theory”

Better title now?

Yup, they do change color and it’s not because of the time-of-day.

Besides, what purpose would a time-of-day color change serve anyway? (none) Just seems like poor speculation…

I never said it was a good theory either. I always thought it had to do with something else besides time of day, now we know for sure that time of day is not a factor.
