New to multiplayer and everyone is max level?

I’ve messed around with the preferences a few times but in the last few games, everyone has been 140+ and I’m literally just starting out. Is that normal?

Yes. Your SR rank (140+) shows that you have experience playing Halo, but it isn’t a reflection of your actual skill.

Yes. This is very true. I’m 149 and suck lol nah I’m ok. But some level 80 dudes kick my -Yoink- a lot.

wow, well i expect the majority of people left playing are the hardcore fans from day one

Yes it is. For me it happens whenever I play any game. There is some guy that is +100. But gets their a## kicked around. I can’t really say much since I’m only SR30

The spartan rank is only a measure of time you have spent in the game. The important stuff is the unlocks you get from the req $ystem. It only affects Warzone really though. The strat is mostly to win a match every day and unlock silvers until you get req points back then move on to gold packs.

This is just what happens after a game gets a few years old. If you play during more popular times like in the evenings or weekends the player population should be a little higher and the matches (should) be a little more fair. Then again you get more organized teams playing then too it seems so it might come down to getting a lucky lobby sometimes. Stick with it and it’ll get easier, once you pick up some tricks and learn maps you’ll be more competitive.

Edit: I just realized I commented on the wrong thread, lmao.

In any event, a high SR might look scary, but the people you should really be worried about are those you encounter in the custom games browser. Those guys are insane.

Was normal for me didn’t stop me from winning and ranking up quickly stay strong

I’ve been playing for years. I play almost exclusively on Legendary but I didn’t go online until my stepson gave me a gold pack - because I’m cheap. So I look like a noob because of low rank but I have plenty of weapons and vehicles and I know how to use them. Unfortunately, I’m starting to like Warzone. I watch Luke theNotable’s videos for Warzone theory.

. Yes, you just have to persevere.

Consider “secondary accounts” level 10 that are untouchable, and become champ in 20 match

This far in the games life expect most players to be veterans
