Didn’t know where this should be posted. I was more of a cod guy back in the day and played halo 1 I believe know the pc a long time ago.
This year I decided to drop cod because it’s just the same thing over and over. It honestly got tiresome also with the dlc’s. Team work felt like it was non existent and it was just another cod after cod. I really liked how implemented it was with the competitive scene though.
I will be picking up the new halo today after never playing any halo series since halo 1. I played the pc version back in my high school computer class days along with unreal tournament.
1-Is halo 5 going to be competitive as the cod series on mlg? I remember the rush while playing cod on gamebattles looking for clan matches.
2- Will people finally use their mics? Seems like in cod ppl just join while still in thier party chat and ignore all in game communication.
3- People mind adding me? Do some campaign mode 7pm est. get the feel for the game for the first time ever.
Also if anyone thinks this surpassed it’s predecessor

Yes. MLG picked Halo up again. There will be big tourneys for pro players with a huge prize pool and you will also be able to perform in different online tourneys.

Not really, no. Maybe in the high ranks. Its better for you to get friends and search/callout with them if you want to have some succes online.

Halo. Where do I start. Yes, the series started as an original xbox exclusive and yes the fan base is on the Microsoft Xbox. But, 3 years later Halo combat evolved released on PC. Then followed Halo 2, shortly after its release. Needless to say, it is apparently obvious that MS wanted at one point to have this game multiplatform on xbox and pc. That really should’t be a concern of financial matters to them, Apple cant really play games so people wouldn’t really have a choice but to get it on windows 10 or xbox. So Microsoft would not be losing money on the game, and i am more than positive that their profits would increase if the franchise became multiplatform. Seems like a bad business tactic to exclude players on a platform that has MS name on it, who have been crying out for more halo since 2. Not halo spartan assult. A real Halo game. I think if MS really want’s to show gaming support for windows 10, then halo 5 and the master cheif collection would the be the titles that would make up for some seriously bad customer service. I love Microsoft for one reason, and that is halo. I just wont spend 400 bucks on a console that im only going to play one title on. Im sure many agree. Or disagree. Whatever floats your mother -Yoinking!- boat.
